Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vomero, Naples

The absolute best airbnb and host that we had during our two week trip to Italy. The apartment is stunning, and even better than the photos. We actually decided to stay in and cook dinner two of the nights because of how peaceful the space is and the gorgeous views everywhere you look. Barbara was incredible - helping us coordinate travel, always responsive and such a pleasant and kind person. Already thinking of planning our return trip!

Our home in Positano was the most beautiful in a most beautiful city. It was even better than the photos and exceeded our dreams. Fabrizia answered all my pre-trip concerns and questions and set us up with airport transfer and private driver. Carmella let us in and clearly explained everything at check in. The beds were comfortable and had extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen had everything we could need. The stairs are serious but all of Positano is stairs; that is part of the adventure of choosing to stay there. The home location was easy for grocery, restaurant, bus stop, and may I say once more, perfect for beauty.

What an amazing place to stay! The family were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations of places to visit and eat. The house is beautiful, very tastefully decorated with everything you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The views were absolutely phenomenal! The pictures do not do it justice and the garden was immaculately kept, felt very luxurious. The living space was great with a lovely fireplace making the evenings nice and cosy. Whilst extremely communicative hosts they did not bother us during our stay and the location was very private, but were very quick to respond if we needed anything. The only downside is that the views come with some difficult terrain to get there! Probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues without a hire car. As a semi fit young couple even we struggled up the hill after dinner! But ultimately the location would not put us off returning.

We had such a great time in Positano at this apartment! First, the hosts were so responsive and pleasant to interact with. We were greeted at a restaurant and helped with our bags down a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment. The place is so charming and full of light. It’s larger than it seemed to me in the photos. The views were insane! We felt so lucky to have found this exact place. Everything in Positano is either a walk-up or walk-down…lots of steps and stairs.. but this place was very conveniently located near restaurants and shops so that if you were tired from a long day of exploring, you could easily have a nice dinner or grab provisions near your place. We would definitely highly recommend place and if Simona has other properties to rent I would recommend her company in general because they took excellent care of us and responded within minutes if we had questions or needed anything. Great place and great host!

This place was beautiful and so peaceful after Rome and Naples. The host left us fresh tomatoes, lemons, and pasta. We made dinner in most nights. It was easy to catch the local bus right outside the villa. You can walk but road a little scary with traffic. Caterina was wonderful and so helpful. We did the boat trip to Capri and really enjoyed. Only complaint would be beds are not the best and WiFi could be a little spotty. But who needs WiFi when you can sit on a balcony in beautiful surroundings with a book and glass of wine.

What stood out the most was, Chiara. She’s lovely! Kind, knowledgeable, happy to help, patient and basically a delight. She really made our stay with the right recommendations and friendly smile. We are very happy to have met her and have stayed at her family’s place- super clean, cozy, everything we needed.

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

Our home provided everything we needed and the location was immaculate. Anna Maria is an adorable person and helped us a lot!! He had also left us chocolates for the welcome that we ate right away! The two bathrooms worked really well for us! We also met their beautiful dog who only wanted to caress. Thank you so much for everything

There were 5 of us and the truth is that we were very comfortable and we felt right at home. Antonio was very attentive and was there to solve/help with anything we had at the time. Very good location, in 10-15 minutes maximum walking, you arrive at the central station of Naples. I would definitely recommend it!!

The place is very good value for anyone aiming to explore Vesuvius surrounding area while avoiding Naples's traffic and noise. On top, Francesca is also an amazing host always available to help.

Our stay at The Cave far exceeded our expectations. Yes, it was clean, easy to check in, and matched the description. What stood out were the details of the space and the host. Each corner of the home perfectly captures the heart of Naples. Additionally, The Cave’s host, Attilio, was arguably THE best host I have encountered. From check in to check out, he made sure we were comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend staying at The Cave and huge thank you to Attilio!

The house is a dream! Well-kept furnishings, very spacious, but above all a wonderful view and inimitable location. You sleep to the sound of the sea! All the necessary elements are there to feel at home. Host always present and responsive to answer any questions. Highly recommended!

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Naples. It is close to transport links and the historical centre of Naples. The lift is a great asset. There is a mini bar on the communal terrace which was very kind of Fabio to provide.

This was so much more than just an Airbnb—it was truly a special experience. From the moment we booked, Gabriella and Giuseppe went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Gabriella arranged all our transfers to and from the station and airport, even on Easter morning, which was such a gift. She also helped book us a cooking class in a beautiful location. The personal touches made this stay unforgettable. Gabriella left us an abundance of fresh vegetables, and we made homemade sauce one night that felt like something out of a dream. The kids had so much fun making fresh orange juice every morning. We had the pleasure of staying at Vittorio's Villa in Praiano, and I can’t recommend it enough! The views from the villa were breathtakingly beautiful. Waking up to the sunrise over the sea was truly a magical experience. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, luxurious and homey. We felt at ease from the moment we stepped inside. Vittorio and Francesca were responsive and helpful, providing recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, and must-see sights. It was clear they genuinely cared about their guests' experience, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. This place and hosts genuinely exceeded all our expectations. Villa Rosella was absolutely spotless and immaculate! Franco (host) who lives right above the villa, thoughtfully provided us with a bottle of local wine, coffee, and some basicfood which was such a lovely touch after our long journey. He also spoiled us with local pastries left on our porch table every single morning, which became a cherished part of our routine. The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy, ensuring restful nights. The convenience of a washing machine, complete with detergent, was also a significant bonus for a family on vacation. On our departure, Franco's generosity continued with a parting gift of homemade Limoncello, crafted with lemons from his own garden – a truly authentic and memorable souvenir. I honestly cannot praise Franco and Marco enough. If you're looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Amalfi Coast, stop searching and book this villa. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

This rental worked out well for my family while we visited from the US. The house is in a peaceful, quiet, and private area. We did our research on the area and we knew this was in the country and not walkable. You really need a car if you’re going to stay here. This isn’t a negative in my opinion, just want other renters to be aware. The host was very kind and responsive. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The view was unbelievable, beautiful! Very quiet & peaceful. Very clean. Francesca communicated very well either us…friendly, very helpful.

We loved staying at Tina’s place. It was stunning but at the same time very comfortable. We all slept very well. The bedrooms were beautiful and each had their own bathroom or ensuite. The pool was great as well. Tina was such a lovely and helpful host. She obviously cares about her guests and the villa. We loved the location and would recommend a car. It was so quiet compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend Tina’s place and would love to go back one day. Grazie Tina.

Our 3-night stay in Praiano was the highlight of our trip—we only wish we had stayed longer! Francesca and Agostino were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. After a train delay in Naples, Agostino went out of his way to arrange a taxi for us and greeted us upon arrival, even though we got in late. He showed us around and even provided delicious snacks and treats, which were so appreciated after a long travel day. Waking up to the breathtaking views was incredible, and our kids loved swimming in the jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. The location is perfect—close to restaurants, the beach, and the bus stop to neighboring towns like Positano. We loved how quiet and charming Praiano is and are so glad we chose to stay here. Francesca and Agostino clearly take pride in their space and have thought of every detail, from the beautiful decor to all the modern luxuries and amenities. We would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to return for a longer stay someday!

Giovanna’s place is true luxury with awesome host, great view, premium rooms, and wonderful gardens. We were welcomed by the host who gave us complete tour of the home, local recommendations and also had a cute ‘present’ for us in the form of welcome drinks 🥂 Due to weather we couldn’t have pool but the whole property is so mesmerising that we even forgot about pool. Photos do not do complete justice as this place is much more beautiful than photos. We can’t wait to come again 😊 Already missing our morning tea with the view. This propert is a true gem, premium luxury with super helpful host. Thanks for having us at your place!
