It's situated on the bottom of the mountain, surrounded by the forrest, overlooking the valley from up high over the rest of the village rooftops. Had a great couple of days at the property. It’s a few minutes walk to the lake with a small bar selling beers and drinks. Tolmin is just down the road so location couldn’t be better.

Hinko and Bojana were wonderful hosts. We felt really Like at a Friends‘ home. The River, the canoeing, cycling, the gorges felt like paradise and the food at neary Stork and the pri Martini (in Tolmin) was mouth-watering. We wished we Never had to leave and will be back!

Casa Sittaro is situated in a rural location but not too far from key amenities - a large local shop is 10 mins drive away and there are restaurants nearby. Check in was really easy and it was comforting to know the owner lives next door in case of any issues. The house surpassed our expectations. It is clean, modern and beautifully outfitted. It has everything needed. We visited in late July when temperatures were 30+ degrees Celsius, but the house has AC so remained cool throughout. Not all rooms have AC, but we still found they remained fairly cool at night. I'd highly recommend staying here; we will be back if we revisit the area!
