Casa Stella Celeste is situated in the quiet district of Cartellone, in the heart of Modica. It offers guests a spectacular view of the old town, opposite the baroque Saint George Cathedral. From Corso Umberto I, where you can park the car, you can only reach the house on feet by taking a narrow street and several flight of steps -as is the case with most accommodations in town- but it is definitely doable. It is located in the center of the mountain town of Chiaramonte Gulfi,right in the front of town hall,at the end of a courtyard where parking is free.About 100-200 meters away are all the various shops,bars,restaurants,the main square. It is a "real house",welcoming,equipped,well heated.The large vaults,the huge terrace and two further rooms under stone arches in the basement make it special and with a charms all its own. The hostess decorated it with particular pieces.
