Wonderful trip . Delightful, polite host, always ready to answer all my questions about where to eat and what to do. Yes because they were the only things to ask for since the place was better than what you see in the photo, the house was a miniature of beauty, comfort and good taste. Rating 10 and praises. Highly recommended. We went to 5 families with teenagers. Perfect point to choose seaside resorts, wildlife excursions, and art cities. In short, a dream vacation. Thank you Salvo!!!

The beautiful house and especially the warm pool made this vacation unforgettable. Jumping into the water in the morning or floating on the air mattress at night admiring the starry sky. Dreamlike! One day we even decided not to go on an excursion and to spend a day “at home” because the children were having so much fun. The house and especially the kitchen had everything you need. The TV in their own bedroom was a highlight for the children. The vaulted ceiling in the bedroom is a real eye-catcher and goes well with the many design details in the other areas. However, the whole “Mazar” experience would be nothing without the warm and attentive service provided by Giuseppe. On the day we arrived, he surprised us with Sicilian specialties and explained the night sky to us one evening with his telescope, which delighted both the children and us adults. Whenever we see the moon, Jupiter or Saturn in the night sky in the future, we will remember this wonderful vacation in Mazar.

Villa Arillá is a fabulous place to spend time in Sicily. Close to Marina di Ragusa and nearby Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto. Everything was easy and Tati was a fabulous host. We really enjoyed our holiday here and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

The accommodation and gardens are beautiful and the local recommendations very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore the Modica area.

A group of 15 adults stayed at Oriana’s brilliant villa. It’s the perfect place for a group to spend their time in Sicily, the kitchen has all you need, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms and a large pool. Oriana was really responsive & happy to help in any way she could, including organising transfers to and from a winery & in and out of Scicli, the local town, when we didn’t want to drive. To note when planning your trip here, you aren’t within walking distance of any amenities or the beach, you will need hire cars. Can’t recommend this villa enough.

We were in paradise! Absolutely amazing modern place - both the house and the resort itself. The house is timeless and tastefully designed, practical layout, a great pool that is shared with the apartment next door. Each unit has 4 sun loungers from the pool. The courtyard has a seating area and a charcoal grill. Great dictont store is 3 minutes on foot. Down to the center is a 10-minute walk away. The amenities of the place were adequate. We would only replenish a watering can or jug for tea or lemonade. There are insect screens on the windows. The mosquitoes were quite a bit in the evening. We have to praise the comfortable sofa bed. We definitely recommend Deborah's place and would love to come back!

What a beautiful home. Adriana’s place is peaceful & with stunning views overlooking Scicli. The house is very well equipped, a great place to unwind & has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is just fabulous. We arrived late at night & had no food (there are no supermarkets open after 9pm locally) but Adrianna kindly let us use whatever we could find & a risotto was rustled up. Coffee, milk, toast & marmalade are provided for breakfast the first day which is thoughtful. Scicli is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our morning coffee in Chiosco 'a Funtana which has the best coffee ever - a gorgeous spot. Fresh fish from the local fishmonger is highly recommended too and the little vegetable kiosks by the coffee spot & fishmonger have every delicious vegetable you might need. Thanks Adrianna for being a super responsive & kind host.

A great place to stay when looking for tranquility. Great location, good amenities and a refreshing pool made staying at this property more than bearable. The host was very communicative and gave us many useful tips.

It was a pleasure staying at Ornella's apartment. It is exactly as in the pictures. the views from the terrace are beautiful. you see all the town. the apartment was spacious and clean. Totally recommend this apartment. thanks Sofia

We had a great time in Pozzalo. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Great for family reunion. There are a beach nearby and two other sand beaches within 15 minutes walking distance. Giuseppina recommended “Sea Sound” restaurant and we went there. The food was excellent. If you want to cook fish yourself there is a fish store just across the restaurant. The town has grocery stores and bakery stores with fresh baked bread and pastries. We drove to Mt. Etna and Siracusa from Pozzalo. We wanted to visit Modica and Ragusa but didn’t have time for that. It is only 30 minutes drive and beautiful towns with an interesting history.

We had a fantastic month at this cozy home in Scicli. Our stay was a perfect combination of vacation and remote work for two freelancers. The apartment was exactly as described, and although there are a few stairs to reach it, it was not a problem for us. Inside, we found all the necessary comforts and accessories, and even more. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, which made our home dinners more enjoyable. The internet connection, as we imagined because of the location, is not suitable for continuous use for work, but this did not ruin our overall experience at all. Ludovica and her husband, our hosts, were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Communicating with them was easy and enjoyable. We are grateful for the positive experience and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay in Modica. Adriana's place is in easy walking distance of all the wonderful restaurants and charm that Modica has to offer. The view across the valley from the terrace is fantastic and even in the winter of February it was like a warm summer day when the sun came out. Easy to find and no trouble parking. Great value for the two of us!

A very nice appartment! We enjoyed the stay a lot!

Unforgettable stay in this apartment with stunning views of Modica, super well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Giancarlo was very responsive when I booked an hour before our arrival due to a cancellation of my initial accommodation, he mobilized someone to come and greet us at the parking lot and help us with the luggage (we were traveling with our 2.5 year old son, and I was 7 months pregnant). Access to the accommodation is easy from the parking lot, with only a downhill, my son and I easily managed it. This accommodation is truly the pearl of our Sicilian stay, I would highly recommend it!!

What a great place in a wonderful location, so central in Modica with amazing views & yes a bit of a steep hill home but something has to justify all that pasta and Gelato! Great restaurants and our favourite Hemingway’s bar for wonderful cocktails and people watching. Cafe Adamo for delicious pastries, coffee and Gelato. Nick was very proactive and responsive as was Giorgio & the welcome pack was very much appreciated. The house was a real home from home which made us feel very relaxed and the provision of beech towels, parasols very useful, the well equipped kitchen made cooking in, easy. The house manual was full of very useful information and suggestions for places to go, some of the prices may be a little outdated, but it’s hard to keep up with inflation. I would have no doubt at recommending this lovely home in Modica & Nick in the Uk and Giorgio in Modica, make a great team. Thank you both .

It was exactly as imagined. Very nice to relax in the garden under all the wonderful fruit trees! The house incredible! Maybe not for those afraid of stairs & rough floors.

Lovely apartment, furnished with all amenities, fresh towels/plentiful/, hot water, parking space in the courtyard and everything in between. Salvina and husband and were extremely kind and welcoming. Salvina had made us a welcome cheesecake, there was juice and water in the fridge. Coffee and biscuits were left for us separately. Salvina is very nice and reacted right away to my questions. Thank you sweet family. I would highly recommend you and we would stay with you again. Greetings!

Very nice quiet little house in a very large garden. The accommodation is very clean and well appointed. It has everything you need and Claudio even put several drinks in the fridge for us! Communication is very easy because Claudio lives right next door while remaining discreet. He is very responsive and friendly! His little dog is a real treat who amused our two daughters! We would highly recommend it!

Very cosy and cute villa, would definitely recommend. Has all the necessary things and the little touches make a difference (there was a wine bottle and some cold drinks in the fridge waiting for us). You will definitely need a car to get around and be aware that the entrance to the villa is narrow so if you have a bigger car it might be a bit tricky. Overall the villa was nice and we felt at home straight away.

What a fantastic location above the village, with exceptional views, and just a 2 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. It is also perfect for 2 friends or 2 couples wanting separate sleeping areas. You enter to the main living room and kitchen, to the right is a bedroom/bathroom/terrace, and to the left is another bedroom/bathroom/terrace. Communication with Jacopo was excellent! I would stay here again.

Casina Lanterne is a magical spot with amazing, relaxing views overlooking a farm valley out to the sea. We loved the architecturally-savvy update to a traditional Sicilian farmhouse. It was the ideal place for us to relax and enjoy both the beach and nearby baroque towns. Chiara was a wonderful host - she made us feel right at home and was very responsive throughout our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer, and definitely hope to return!

Great place to stay with loads of indoors and outdoors space for a large group. Really well situated for getting around the South East of Sicily.

We have enjoyed our stay very much. The host was perfect and was always kind and at hand. The villa is a 5 minute walk from the beach which was hugely conveniet. The place is perfect for families.
