This place was perfect for us, as a family gathering in Hamburg, where we could spend time in the garden and dinner table, rather than have to use a restaurant. If that's what you're looking for, I can recommend this: it's not the cheapest property, but if you have 6+ guests, you can make up for that by cooking and eating in. and the house is in a nice, quiet area of Bergedorf. Vivian was easy to communicate with. The house was clean and matched the description. There is a first floor bedroom and bathroom suitable for elderly guests, and plenty of room upstairs to spread out. The kitchen had supplies (e.g. cooking herbs and spices) ready for us. There's a dining room table large enough for eight guests. The garden is peaceful and has seating for everyone. Yes, it's a lived-in home, which means there are a few minor inconveniences. Minor -- imagine you rented out your own home, there would be quirks that you've learned to live with. Same here. Overall, Vivian keeps a great property.

The space was as expected. Unfortunately, the pool table was a little heavily used (a ball bag broken, a cue as well, but playable). So four stars. Friendly host, always approachable.

We celebrated New Year's Eve in the house with four adults and four young children. We felt very comfortable right away, which was due to the fact that there is an almost complete house, everything was really clean without hesitation, the house is very lovingly and privately furnished and the hostess welcomed us very warmly. She also inquired about our well-being in between and was always reachable. She also encouraged us several times to reach out to her with questions at any time - just great. The cars could be safely parked in an existing double garage. The house is situated in a well-kept and very quiet residential area in the middle of the (flat) countryside. This was perfect for our purposes, but you definitely need a car for things to do. Thanks again for the hospitality.

Great house and a great host. It’s a bit of a drive to the city center but worth it for the space and the quiet. Great house for kids as well. My only tiny tiny complaint is that the stairs were a bit steep and with small children that was a challenge and I wish there were a safety guard on site. Everything else was beyond expectations!

Lovely house in a very quiet suburb, off street parking and a garden with terrace. The house is bigger than it looks with two full shower rooms (one in basement) and a separate toilet. There is plenty of living space with open plan dining/living and a separate lounge. The bedrooms are quite large double/twins and easily accommodated our family group. Viettan made us feel very welcome and gave some great restaurant recommendations

Perfect place. Highly recommended

We (8 adults with 4 toddlers)had a great time in a beautiful home. The house is large, each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. We really lacked nothing. The communication with Volker was always friendly. He greeted us in the house at the beginning and showed us everything. We will be happy to come back!
