Great location, neighborhood and accommodations. Not a ton of natural light, but I view this as a good thing for sleeping. 6/5 stars

Such a lovely gem of a home! It was the perfect size for our large group of friends, and full of activities. Everything was in pristine shape, and the private dock is somehow even easier to access than I expected — just a single set of steps down, and you pass the cute and secluded fire pit along the way. Other highlights include the (multiple!!) basketball hoop arcade setups, and the movie theater room is just as good as the photos convey. The front yard is huge, too, perfect for organized outdoor games like football and kickball. The only minus I have is super trivial: the TVs in the home all had HDMIs but we couldn’t locate AV/S-Video ports, so there was no way to hook up the Wii we’d brought (for additional games like Mario Kart). Big thanks to Daniel for a 5-star stay. We’re already chewing on returning to this exact spot.

Thang's place was perfect for the group. Very close to the metro station which was a plus. The house was beautiful and everything was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful house and beautiful location. Thank you Thang for sharing your beautiful space.

We had an incredible stay at this lovely waterfront home. The views were absolutely stunning—peaceful, calming, and perfect for unwinding. We spent our days kayaking right from the property and our evenings around the bonfire under the stars, which made for such a memorable and relaxing escape. The house itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained with thoughtful touches throughout. It was incredibly quiet and serene, just what we were hoping for. The nearby town was a delight—quaint and welcoming with great restaurants, charming antique shops, and some of the best seafood we’ve had in a while. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration. Whether you’re looking to kayak, explore the area, or simply unplug and relax by the water, this place has it all. We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Hope to be back soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dominic's Airbnb, - I've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The accommodations were immaculate, with every corner of the house meticulously clean and well-maintained. The directions provided were clear and easy to follow, making our arrival seamless. Dominic's communication and hospitality were truly outstanding. He was incredibly quick to respond to any inquiries, and his attentiveness made us feel welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The amenities were top-notch, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The location was perfect, offering convenient access to local attractions and amenities. Whether you're looking to explore the area or simply relax, this Airbnb is ideally situated. “Lake-life” lovers dream—Brenda is a beautiful, well-appointed house and kitchen with an outstanding panoramic lake view. The bedroom/sleeping configurations are excellent for families traveling with a wide range of ages. Ronald, our host, was responsive, helpful, flexible, and generous. Would highly recommend this stay for people who love low-key lake R&R.

We had a great weekend at this Virginia getaway! The house is beautiful and Adriano and Yamel were wonderful hosts. They were quick with responses and had great recommendations for things to do around the area.

Space was perfect for us staying as a family of 6. Bedrooms were great and the home offered plenty of space throughout. Awesome backyard, although we did not really use - very close beach access. Had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend!

Dawn’s place is the nicest Airbnb we have ever found! I never experienced a house where there are so many extras to make your visit special! Dawn and her husband have gone above and beyond to create this peaceful dog-friendly oasis. The game room was a blast, the dock and patios were comfortable with chairs, cushions, lounges and a fire pit. Dawn even supplied graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate to make Smores! The beds were super comfortable and there were tons of towels for people and pets. We also enjoyed the deep bathtub, bubble bath and shower. It was go great not to have to bring shampoo, body wash and all this much need toiletries that fill your suitcase. My family had a relaxing fun week there and will definitely be back. I wish we could give a ten star rating because that’s what this place deserves! Thanks Dawn 😇

The Wolfe Gilbert House can be described as being elegantly rustic. One can tell the house has been there for many years. Once the inside, all of the expected modern conveniences and furnishings can be found. A working farm and fields surround the Airbnb. The screened-in front porch is the jewel of the residence which is suitable for casual gatherings or relaxation. This is a great Airbnb to simply unwind!!!

Tyler's place was perfect for our stay with our extended family. It's spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax indoors and out. It has a very nice large porch and deck, great for some solitude or for kids to play. The beds were comfy and the linens ample, there are gorgeous large bathrooms and luxurious showers, the kitchen was well-stocked and included an amazing high-end stove, and the living spaces are nicely decorated and furnished with art and tons of books. One bedroom had lots of toys and kids' books, a very nice touch. Tyler was helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The location is very convenient to Arlington National Cemetery and within walking distance to a Metro stop. Everything about this rental was fantastic--we highly recommend it if you need a lovely space for a large group. Thanks, Tyler!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. It was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time playing cards in the evening and watching movies. My 4 and 2 year old grandsons looked forward to going to bed at night so they could take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. The house had everything you could possibly want. The hot tub was a hit with my grown children. We look forward to returning in the future.

This place was amazing! We gathered for a 70th birthday dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. The screened in patio was the perfect place to gather, have lots of laughs and make lots of memories. Thank you Jackie! Looking forward to next time!

We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.

Fantastic place to stay and spend time. Sadly we only had 2 nights here due to our short stay, but definitely would love to be back again.

We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

Wonderful long weekend stay for our daughter’s wedding at Showalter Orchard. The accommodations were perfect for multiple family members. Everyone loved the animal themed bedrooms. Beautiful views from the front and back porch. Home is well stocked for anything you may need during your stay. Hoping to make it back again as we didn’t have a chance to use the pool during the busy wedding weekend!

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

What a blast! This is the second time I've facilitated a group trip to Kristie's place for a weekend of pickleball, food, and laughter. I'm already planning the next one! The house and other buildings are well-equipped and well-kept and provided everything we needed to fully enjoy our time together, including a gorgeous view of the lake from the dining table we gathered around. Absolutely recommend.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and so thoughtfully appointed. The kids loved the pool and running around outside, the views were beautiful, and Sarah was such a welcoming host. We are looking forward to coming back!

This was an AMAZING stay! A group of us came to Richmond to celebrate my 30th birthday and our plans consisted of staying in, cooking, watching tv, and playing board games. We wanted to feel at home and be comfortable cooking and spending time together. This Airbnb certainly delivered! The rooms were big and spacious, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE and we immediately felt at home. If we needed anything, it was likely already provided and if we had any questions, the hosts were very quick to respond. They certainly went above and beyond. It was well worth the money we paid and we enjoyed ourselves so much. The photos came out beautifully too! What an incredible house and even better facilities. We can’t wait to return — this time in the summer!
