Family-friendly vacation rentals in Virginia Beach

This house and stay were exactly what we needed! We are a quiet family that loves peaceful spaces. The home was beautiful, well maintained, clean, updated, and extremely well appointed. Access to both the beach and lake was easy, as was getting into and out of town. Jack proactively reached out to us when we got there to ensure everything was in order and offered assistance if we needed anything. We didn’t need anything during the week but we felt good knowing he was available. We met some of the neighbors in passing and they were friendly and welcoming, too. Wonderful experience!

This location could not have been more perfect for our family….. out the door, across the street, down the short boardwalk and you are at the beach. It was so comfortably convenient. The house is amazing: everyone had their space, super clean, easy to prepare meals… 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens, attractively decorated, ping pong/pool table, foos ball table and a beautiful pool area. We had a plumbing issue in two of the bathrooms, but Tanya called someone over and the situation was remedied in an hour. We would love to stay there again.

Great location and amenities.

This was perfect for my family of four and dog. We stayed two nights and would have loved to been able to stay longer. Ron was an excellent host. This felt like a private spa trip with the massive pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and steam room. We are local to the area and would definitely stay again!

The location was great. Two streets walk to the boardwalk and two streets over to Neptune Statue on 30th Street. Supermarket for groceries was across the street from condo. The washer and dryer and dishwasher made everything so easy to keep up with. Keyless entry is perfect. There are many fun things to do in the area that is either a short walk or short drive. Examples are iFly indoor skydiving, parasailing, kayaking with dolphins, riding bikes/skateboards, mini-golf, etc. We had a great time!

Great location and the space was great as well! We had a wonderful time at the pool and walking to all of the restaurants and shops nearby!

We had such a great stay at this Airbnb—it was exactly as advertised and perfect for our family. The space was clean, cozy, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. Kevin was helpful and responsive. We really appreciated the code entry to the main areas — it made us feel safe and secure in a busy area that we weren’t familiar. The pool was a huge bonus, and the beach toys provided were a nice added touch, especially with kids. The location truly couldn’t have been better—super walkable to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, shops, and lots of activities. On-site parking was a total win since parking in the area can be a challenge. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to stay again if we return. Highly recommend!

It’s a great location and was the perfect size for my friends and I. We loved having a pool table and access to the pool. Everything was super nice and well taken care of and they have the SuperHost title for a reason. 10/10 experience all around

Great house and location! The neighborhood felt very quiet and safe, and the house being fenced in was nice too. Backyard was nice and clean and well-maintained. House is pretty local to most things and easy to walk (or drive) to. The bikes were great and perfect for riding to the beach. Beds were comfortable, and the host left us bagels and OJ upon our arrival - how nice is that?? Also, host was very accommodating when we needed to adjust length of stay by a day. Friendly, responsive and a pleasure to deal with start to finish. Thanks!

Brandon’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the sand and beach waves. The space was incredibly clean and thoughtfully prepared, with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From beach gear to kitchen basics, everything was right where we needed it. We truly had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!

Great little duplex. Nice lofted bedroom and private bedroom that leads to the backyard. Responsive hosts. Streaming was easy. Very comfortable stay and great location. A ride to the beach was 5 minutes

Overall we had a great trip. Rosemary communicated promptly and it was nice having a fenced backyard. Also I’ve been to many airbnbs and Rosemary had the best stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, silverware, spices, etc. & cleaning supplies, garbage bags, etc. The snack basket, wine & water are a nice touch as well!

It's great when reality meets expectations - and the posting for this place was exactly that. In addition, Lynn was quick and responsive to our questions - which was a great help in moving in. The past month in this setting was just what we needed!

I came down from Maine for a friends wedding and stayed here. It’s in a really nice little neighborhood, nice and quiet, and still a close driving distance to the boardwalk area and all the restaurants. Perfect for a couple or going solo like I did, bed was very comfortable. It was well worth the price they ask. Had a great time, for my first air bnb experience it was really good

Left plenty of supplies, great location. Parking is manageable but takes some logistics. Comfortable home and very clean

Family and I chose this house because of the room and open space. It was fully equipped with everything that we needed and that was a plus. And we were not far from the beach definitely would recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay. We were a large group and ended up loving the place so much that we extended a full week. Beth was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and will be staying here again if I'm in the area again.

My family was in town for a basketball tournament and the home was perfect for our visit. Just as beautiful as in the pictures and more than enough space for everyone to feel comfortable.

Perfect/ideal location! Loved the amenities like the cruisers and grill options! No complaints honestly. Will look to stay there again when I plan to revisit.

We were in town visiting relatives and appreciated the easy access and location near the airport. We didn’t require kitchen space but the refrigerator and coffeemaker were perfect. Plenty of room in 4 upstairs bedrooms and TV’s everywhere! Residential area so feels like home. Very friendly hosts who frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Definitely stay here again. The apartment is clean, bright, and conveniently located in a great neighborhood. The beach access is fantastic. And Darcy is very responsive, as she handled my group's questions very quickly and effectively.

This was a great place. It was beautiful and private, and safe. I enjoyed the easy access to the beach and it felt like I was already a local. Olga was a great host, responsive and proactive. The multiple floor setup was great to house two families with kids. The kitchen and social area was open, clean and inviting. I would stay here again, it was such a perfect family friendly getaway for us.

Quiet, comfortable, clean and just a short walk to a great beach! Pamela is a great host who met us at the house to show us around and even had a welcome basket for us on the counter! We would definitely stay there again!
