Mansion vacation rentals in Virden

This was our second time visiting the Bressmer, and just like last time, we had a wonderful stay. We rented the entire mansion, which was the perfect solution for several families to stay together. Each floor allows the family to get together for food and conversation while allowing young children and adults quiet time. The area is close to several historical sites and museums, making daily exploration a breeze. The best is the historic charm the Bressmer provides, as it allows for the unique experience of living in a Victorian mansion with all the modern amenities you’d expect. It’s a fantastic property, and we will revisit it soon.

Our family of 16 stayed and had a terrific time, so much for the kids to do. Among the pool and hot tub the indoor swings and bunks with slide were a bonus that the kids could not get enough of. Abundance of sleeping room and plenty of bathrooms with ample amount of space. The upgrades in the movie room with bedroom/bath were gorgeous. Our family movie night felt like being right at the show but the children and adults could cuddle up. Everyone listened to their favorite genre of music on the rockn surround sound system. We had fun playing kick ball and an Easter egg hunt in the enormous front lawn. Can not say enough about the space at this place. We were able to prepare our own buffet style meals in the large kitchen/dining area and the french vanilla Cappuccino machine they provided was a hit. Sean was a super friendly host!! Memories made and so so much more fun than staying at a hotel in separate hotel rooms.

HOSTS WERE GREAT AND ON TOP OF THERE GAME ANYTHING YOU NEEDED WAS THOUGHT OF AND THERE FOR ALL KIDS AND ADULTS MISSING A TOOTH BRUSH IT WAS THERE SNACKS LAYED OUT FOR GUESTS TRULY GREAT PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME AT THERE PLACE MUCH APPRECIATED, WAS A GREAT TIME BEING THERE WE WILL BE BACK

This property was amazing. This property is very private, peaceful with amazing interior and plenty of parking for our employees. Jon is a five star host with fantastic communication skills and very helpful during our whole stay. Our employees loved the property and we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Jon.

This was hands down my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! The house in Dow, IL was absolutely amazing—spacious, spotless, and perfect for a large group. It had everything we needed and more. The location was peaceful. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway spot!

What an amazing space for a larger group!!! Very clean & right next to everything. Grafton is such a cool area with so many things to do, right on the main strip & nearly everywhere is walkable. Spacious & lots of beds & rooms. Also a small lot to park in on the side & street parking in the front! All around an awesome & great experience!

Nice place, perfect for us! Lots to do around the house and outside areas. Our twin 6 year olds loved the rope course, outside slide, soccer goals, foosball table, etc... they just couldn't get enough of all the fun things/activities to do inside/outside the house. Highly recommended from them!

Was in town for work for a few weeks. Me and the guys felt comfortable and right at home. We grilled out many nights and used the gorgeous kitchen to make 5 star meals. Beds and bedrooms were all comfortable and spacious. Walk in shower and and jet tub made for refreshing and relaxing evenings after. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in town

I used to live on Vandalia Lake, so I knew what to expect from the location - but the house is much nicer than pretty much anything else you'll find in Vandalia. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend while celebrating my granny's 82nd, and it's very likely we'll rent it again in the future, assuming it remains available for that purpose. The main living/kitchen/dining area is wide open and great for hanging out without feeling cramped, and the screened balcony/patio is a lovely place to enjoy the outdoors without being forced to "enjoy" the bugs. Everything is light, airy, modern, and well-maintained. This isn't one of those listings where the photos look great and the reality is worn and dirty - what you see is what you get.

We were in Springfield for a church youth conference at the BOS center. Location was great for the event and restaurants. Everything was clearly marked in kitchen and bathrooms plus the owners having some additional items supplied for use was very helpful! It’s an older home with lots of space for larger groups. Our teens loved the two games in the entryway and the large seating area in the living room was a plus also! Reasonable price for what we received! We had a great stay. We were able to walk to bars and restaurants, then came back to sit around the fire. The house is newly renovated and it was perfect for the 9 of us!!! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Three Pines was the perfect place to have our family stay for a local wedding. We utilized the house for a rehearsal dinner accommodating over 50 people. The place is breathtaking and has fine attention to detail. There is multiple bedrooms, with bathrooms to accommodate as well. Aubrey was such a wonderful communicator leading up to and during the stay!

This is a Beautiful home that has everything it boasts. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside! Everything was clean and met our expectations. We brought a crew for a company conference and it hosted us all just fine. The theater room was a big hit with everyone! We would definitely stay here again!
