Mansion vacation rentals in Virden

The house was really beautiful and unique. No problems with anything in the house other than 1 TV but there were many others. Only recommendation is for that size of house would be nice to have an oven and really need more than one small shower. Everything else was great!

Our family of 16 stayed and had a terrific time, so much for the kids to do. Among the pool and hot tub the indoor swings and bunks with slide were a bonus that the kids could not get enough of. Abundance of sleeping room and plenty of bathrooms with ample amount of space. The upgrades in the movie room with bedroom/bath were gorgeous. Our family movie night felt like being right at the show but the children and adults could cuddle up. Everyone listened to their favorite genre of music on the rockn surround sound system. We had fun playing kick ball and an Easter egg hunt in the enormous front lawn. Can not say enough about the space at this place. We were able to prepare our own buffet style meals in the large kitchen/dining area and the french vanilla Cappuccino machine they provided was a hit. Sean was a super friendly host!! Memories made and so so much more fun than staying at a hotel in separate hotel rooms.

HOSTS WERE GREAT AND ON TOP OF THERE GAME ANYTHING YOU NEEDED WAS THOUGHT OF AND THERE FOR ALL KIDS AND ADULTS MISSING A TOOTH BRUSH IT WAS THERE SNACKS LAYED OUT FOR GUESTS TRULY GREAT PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME AT THERE PLACE MUCH APPRECIATED, WAS A GREAT TIME BEING THERE WE WILL BE BACK

Was in town for work for a few weeks. Me and the guys felt comfortable and right at home. We grilled out many nights and used the gorgeous kitchen to make 5 star meals. Beds and bedrooms were all comfortable and spacious. Walk in shower and and jet tub made for refreshing and relaxing evenings after. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in town

Advertised as a bungalow,Alex's place was remarkably spacious, especially considering the number of people we had. It was in a central location in Springfield. It was also in a walkable, beautiful neighborhood. There was a wonderful coffee shop within a 3 block walk. The bungalow had been updated, and everything was in good working order. The wifi and television both worked great, much to the delight of our grandchildren.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

I used to live on Vandalia Lake, so I knew what to expect from the location - but the house is much nicer than pretty much anything else you'll find in Vandalia. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend while celebrating my granny's 82nd, and it's very likely we'll rent it again in the future, assuming it remains available for that purpose. The main living/kitchen/dining area is wide open and great for hanging out without feeling cramped, and the screened balcony/patio is a lovely place to enjoy the outdoors without being forced to "enjoy" the bugs. Everything is light, airy, modern, and well-maintained. This isn't one of those listings where the photos look great and the reality is worn and dirty - what you see is what you get.

Wonderful historic home that is roomy and comfortable. Second time here and would certainly stay again. Beautifully appointed with great kitchen. Cute town with shops and restaurants nearby.

Joshua was very kind to accommodate our large group. His was quick to respond to our questions and needs. We really appreciated staying at his space on our way through Springfield!

Three Pines was the perfect place to have our family stay for a local wedding. We utilized the house for a rehearsal dinner accommodating over 50 people. The place is breathtaking and has fine attention to detail. There is multiple bedrooms, with bathrooms to accommodate as well. Aubrey was such a wonderful communicator leading up to and during the stay!

This is a Beautiful home that has everything it boasts. It’s a lot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside! Everything was clean and met our expectations. We brought a crew for a company conference and it hosted us all just fine. The theater room was a big hit with everyone! We would definitely stay here again!

Sheri is an excellent host! I stayed in the host home for the Christmas holiday. My family from across several states joined together in the home as our first real gathering since my husband passed away the previous year. It was a very happy time for us. There were 11 of us overall and everyone loved the place and felt right at home. I traveled from Nevada. Upon arrival, I found everything I needed to relax and enjoy time with family. During our stay, my dog became very ill. I booked an extra night after our initial time was up. I wanted too make sure my dog was alright and I was rested before the drive ahead of us. Sheri was very flexible in working out the extra night and very attentive to the needs of my dog. She checked up on my dog even after I had arrived back home. I will definitely stay in her home again. I don’t think you can find a better host. Thank you Sheri for making our stay special.

We had a lovely stay. The house was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We were staying due to my father’s funeral and it gave us a great place to go back to and relax after stressful days. Our host was very friendly and quick to respond. I recommend this home completely as a wonderful place to stay.
