Samantha’s home was even better than the pictures! The location was fantastic. The home was super clean and had a wonderful smell when we entered the home. She and her team were very responsive and provided us with recommendations based on a survey they sent as well as a packet of information at the home. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. My family and I enjoyed it very much! We will definitely be back. Thank you again Samantha and team!

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

This house is remarkably beautiful and welcoming. The walls of windows welcome sunshine throughout and the private views of the water are unmatched. Artistic details abound in the interior - like Anthro and West Elm had a baby. We vacationed with our toddler and my in-laws and we all had ample space to gather, as well as disperse. Highly recommend! Local recs: The Activity Shop for kayak rental delivery, pizza from Blaze, coffee from Bucklyn, brunch at Humblebee Cafe, sundries from Blue Hill Co-op, blueberry pie from Mount Desserts (on way to Acadia).

Rocky's Owls Head house is absolutely wonderful. I had stayed at the property a couple times prior and always delivers an exceptional experience. The house is located in a beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the bay. There is lots of space, several places for me to work, and has everything in the kitchen you could need. I especially loved the upstairs bedroom with the king bed and wonderful view. I will definitely visit again as soon as possible. Highly recommend for a family or friends for a beautiful vacation with all the experiences of Maine. Lovely restaurants nearby with lobster and seafood galore! This was our 4th stay at Bobbie’s house! We love it for the beautiful surroundings, close proximity to great restaurants and Bobbie’s house is always so comfortable and extremely clean. We feel so comfortable there. We got to experience a gorgeous winter snowfall. Bobbie’s husband Colin came and plowed and shoveled for us! We saw lots of deer, some wild turkeys and the majestic bald eagle. We are already looking forward to our next trip! Thank you Bobbie!

The cottage was spectacular and exactly what we were hoping for! The host was very helpful in providing lots of recommendations on local things to do and places to eat. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful, and the host made us feel right at home by providing a local bag of coffee. I loved this place and will definitely recommend it to others!

We had a truly unforgettable stay in Penobscot, Maine, and Suzanne’s Airbnb was a big reason why. The view from the property was absolutely stunning — serene, scenic, and the perfect escape from everyday life. Suzanne was an incredibly warm and gracious host who even invited us for breakfast and made us fresh coffee, making us feel instantly at home. Melissa, the property manager, was equally wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Both Suzanne and Melissa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their kindness made it feel like we were visiting family rather than staying in a rental. I’ll definitely be returning to Suzanne’s place for my next visit to Maine. Highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartwarming getaway!

Very nice little apartment in a quiet and woodsy neighborhood in Southwest Harbor, a very short drive from plenty of restaurants and so forth, and also convenient for exploring the rest of MDI. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and Caroline was responsive and very friendly, as were the rest of her family. Would definitely stay there again.

A quiet bungalow away from the tourist dense center of Bar Harbor and easily accessible to great food, hikes, and the park. The kitchen was well stocked and the whole place was thoughtfully decorated and appealing to all of us!

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Great location as it it right on the Main Street - walkable to various restaraunt and shops. Would love to stay here again.

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Megan’s home is beautiful and welcoming. It’s ideally located on the quieter side of the island. She’s a wonderful and knowledgeable host. We would stay here again without hesitation. Charming, spacious and comfortable.

Perfect for our little girls trip!! We were able to enjoy the hiking and peacefulness of a remote location but also took a day trip to Portland. Would definitely recommend!

My (now) fiancé & I loved this place! Everything you could ask for in a quiet, romantic getaway! We brought our 6 yr old charcoal lab, he loved the place too! From the recs, views, DVDs & surrounding areas, this trip was everything we could’ve asked for. The bay that you’re in was a stellar backdrop for our proposal as well. George’s cabin was a true marvel. Cozy, private, and located right by Rockport, Rockland, and Camden landmarks and restaurants. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature, it was a perfect getaway. The space itself was extremely clean and had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend it to those comfortable with the outdoors and looking for a relaxing cabin experience. Make sure to check out the outdoor shower and fire pit! Would definitely visit again!
