Sunny Bungalow Walk to Town and Ferry

Sunny two-story 1850s farmhouse bungalow attached to the main house where the owners reside in a separate closed-off space. You have private entrance. One double bedroom, another bedroom with two single beds. Walk to town and ferry, which makes life easier during peak months without a car, should you prefer to simply walk on. Standard $125 nightly rate applies to two guests with an extra $50 nightly charge for a third guest. Three person max. The kitchen is a galley kitchen. No pets.

Our cottage is meant to be both contemporary and rustic. It is where we go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the modern world and slow down. There is no TV or internet, even our phone is an old rotary one. You will see that we have a good radio, and games and books to read, and plenty of things to do outside. It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
