The proposed accommodation is located on the second floor of our house. Completely renovated, it is independent and accessible via an external staircase. Within walking distance are the well-known prehistoric grottoes where early humans left their mark. The mediaeval towns such as Figeac, Villeneuve d'Aveyron and Villefranche de Rouergue, Conques, Rocamadour and St Cyr Lapopie are within an hour's drive. Wine, beer, fresh croissants and bread are available at the conveniently located shop.

The Annexe is a deluxe space for two to share. For your comfort and relaxation, you will benefit from a covered terrace, with table and chairs, and an open terrace with a bistro set. A private parking place is located directly outside the main doors. Situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses de Quercy, in the south west of France, our little treasure is well placed for discovering all the beautiful sites of the Lot. Nestled amongst mature gardens and overlooking Lake Groléjac, this beautiful, traditional country house has been lovingly and sympathetically restored. La Lavandula sits in its own established grounds with a large private swimming pool, pétanque court and children’s play area. Groléjac swimming and fishing lake with its lovely, sandy beach is a 2 minute walk away. A cycle path at the rear of the property will take you straight through to Sarlat (11km away) and beyond.

The cottage is on our property, but is completely separate from our house.

Le Dormeur du Val - Charming gîte in Conques

We open our family home of 140 m², an old building of character nestled in the woods a few minutes from the site of Conques. Located four km from the heart of the village, it can accommodate up to nine people. The property offers privacy, tranquility and comfort, as part of the wild nature of the classified site of the Gorges du Dourdou. Household linen rental possible (sheets and towels): €10 per person / stay.

If you are looking for a tranquil getaway with a magnificent view over a picturesque medieval village look no further! Guesthouse adjacent to the owners' house with a separate entrance. Private patio and swimming pool! The property is not suitable for children under 10 years as the outside area is unfenced. Please note that we have 2 medium sized dogs which are confined to the garden around the main house.
