Very welcoming host, very nice stone house and woodwork, everything we like, very peaceful and quiet.

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

Great stay although too short at Vivianne's place. Listing matches the photos in a charming house in the middle of nowhere. Quiet and perfect for stargazing at night. 4 minutes from Parc du Ségala, the location is ideal for those who want to come to the area for that. Everything was spotless and special mention to the linens that smells very nice and that's very nice. Viviane was very responsive to all messages and very welcoming with her husband! Tip top and in addition a great value for money:-)

We had a great time as a family in this charming cottage for the weekend of the ascension. It is an old stone forge (which keeps it cool) with beautiful wooden doors, beautiful furniture, a beautiful staircase… everything has remained authentic, with great taste. There were seven adults and two babies, and frankly, everything was very well thought out to make everyone feel at ease. It has everything you need, nothing is missing. Great bedding. Communication with Eustacia was great! The small garden is lovely and peaceful, the pool was really nice, and the setting… magical. The view, the calm, the village (and this restaurant a minute's walk, too convenient!), everything was perfect. We felt great from the start. We recommend it without a second thought!

Very pleasant week spent at "Caillou"! Due to the rain we were not able to enjoy the outside and the pool, but we still spent a peaceful and relaxing week, enjoying the calm and the "cocoon" aspect of this accommodation.

Great welcome by the hosts who live next door and are available if needed, very good communication, the house is very nice with a large comfortable living room for 8 and a well-equipped kitchen. 2 large quiet terraces with enough armchairs and deckchairs for everyone, we were able to eat outside and test the plancha. You can park easily next door, Cajarc is the perfect village for visiting the area: bars, restaurants, shops ( an excellent butcher), a new super nice bookstore... Fell in love with the house, its hosts and the village. Great value for money: it was perfect.

We chose Amélie's house, thinking that if it rained we would be just as comfortable inside. We weren't disappointed! The sun was there but we fully enjoyed its nice and sweet home to rest, recharge, everything we needed for our vacation! Thank you to her for making this possible, it was a treat, punctuated by her kindness and flexibility. I highly recommend your stays at Amélie's, it feels very good!!!

This place is even more beautiful than the pictures! Everything is harmonious, practical and very well thought out. We were 5 friends and the layout of the space is perfect! The place is charming... Even in bad weather! We would highly recommend it!

We loved Bavo's house, a traditional dry stone construction with wooden beams inside, functional and charming decoration. The magnificent natural pool where you can swim while the sun sets is remarkable. We felt very comfortable and perfectly cared for by the host, who also speaks Spanish well. Nestled in the countryside, you can visit charming villages such as Caylus, Saint Antoine Noble Val, Najac, Abadia de Loc Dieu and Beaulieu. 40 minutes from Cordes, etc. Magnifique !!!

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

Absolutely exceptional place: spacious, clean, beautifully renovated old building with lovely mix of original components (fireplace, sink, stone wall) and modern comforts, tastefully decorated, again with lovely mix of old and new, extremely well equipped, delightful host, stunningly beautiful location in charming village, yet within minutes of larger town with all needed conveniences, easy parking—just terrific! We cannot recommend highly enough!

We were accompanied by very young children and we didn't realize that this accommodation was a little dangerous for them (sloping stairs) but they discovered the trampoline and that was great!! Maybe the small complaint: the surroundings of the pool, the natural pool (beautiful by the way) and the cottage were not yet maintained, too bad because the children could not go there walking, it was necessary to carry them. The house is in a very quiet environment and in the middle of nature. Ideal for resting and seeing the surrounding villages. The house matched the description and photos, and it wasn't difficult for us to get there. Monique is very friendly and nice, even though we don't understand much French, she explained everything perfectly. In addition, as a nice touch, he left us some very tasty yogurts!

Thierry is a great host, he talks about his castle and his region with passion and it's a real pleasure to listen to him. There is something to be proud of, the renovation is superb and the high-level services make the stay unforgettable. In addition, it is perfectly located for discovering Albi, Cordes sur ciel and the north of the department. We hope to come back soon!

Really perfect stay in this cottage, maybe our favorite since we've been traveling with Airbnb. The place is peaceful, isolated in the middle of the mountains, perfect for disconnecting. A swimming pool is available, as well as a terrace for lunch facing the valley. The accommodation was super functional, perfectly equipped with good quality utensils, furniture and appliances. Our host was friendly, understanding and responsive to our messages. We recommend this listing and hope to come back as we loved it.
