Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

Wow. Heaven on earth. We needed quiet and calm for a few days before a busy onwards journey and we found it with Marcus and Pippa. Perfect little gite. We had a lovely family weekend in Sérenac. Nathalie's house is beautiful and restored with a lot of taste. We really liked the peaceful and quiet setting. The accommodation is located just 20 minutes from Albi, which allows you to enjoy the city very easily. Nathalie is very responsive and friendly. We'll be happy to go back. I recommend this beautiful home!

Very nice place for those looking for tranquility, drinking coffee on the terrace in the morning with views of the surrounding countryside was a real pleasure. The proximity to Albi and many historical sites, as well as the countless aquatic "spots" on the Tarn means you don't have to spend your time driving. It should be noted that the village has the necessary shops and even a little more. As for the hosts, Stéphanie and André, they are considerate and provide very good advice. The comfort and equipment of the accommodation is very good. To be repeated :-)

The house was perfect for our family vacation in Tarn. Clean and functional house, and tastefully decorated. The terrace, always shaded, allowed us to have all our meals outside. The children were able to make the most of the large swimming pool, right across the street from the house. This one is shared with the owners, very discreet. Lots of beautiful things to explore in the area (Albi and its cathedral, lots of pretty villages), but you need a car.

We can't say enough about how beautiful this home is, the backyard area and view is spectacular! The sounds of the birds and the lush greenery in front of the majestic cliffs are extraordinary! We cooked often in the home and found we had everything we needed. The long paddle down the Aveyron river was a highlight of our stay. The restaurants and cafés were amazing, filled with many friendly folks. We highly recommend this home and location and would love to come back!
