Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Chalet bien agréable à proximité d'activités tout en au calme. Mayte est très agréable et accessible pour toutes questions. Le jacuzzi bien agréable en fin d'après midi pour se détendre avec une vue imprenable ! Le plus important pour nous est la propreté et le confort du couchage et nous l'avons eu chez Mayte 🤗

Super mooie finca met prachtig zwembad. Ons huisje was top en had een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf het terras en vanuit de jacuzzi!

Casita muy acogedora y bonita, no le faltaba detalles. Lo que más nos gustó fue el jacuzzi y la chimenea. Buen lugar para desconectar. Lorena muy atenta y respondiendo a todas nuestras dudas. Muy recomendable, repetiremos 100%.

Todo perfecto, la zona exterior muy cuidada y bonita. Fiel al anuncio. no tuvimos ninguna complicación para llegar y acceder y eso que nuestra llegada fue bastante tarde. Nos lo guardamos para repetir.

Just retuned from a 1 week stay at the Cassita! Lovely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and plenty to do if you’re happy to drive. Our two children loved the pool too. Kila was very responsive and friendly and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thanks again.

Dit huisje met zwembad (én jacuzzi!) bovenop de berg in Coín is echt een paradijs. Ideaal voor een ontspannende gezinsvakantie. De weg ernaartoe is wel pittig, maar eens je dat gewoon bent, is dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada, …

Wat een geweldige accommodatie! Sfeervol, ruim en superschoon huis met een prachtig uitzicht over de omgeving. Het zwembad en terras was heerlijk om bij te komen na wandelingen door El Torcal National Park en de Caminito del Rey. We hadden nog wel een week willen blijven!

Lovely cabin in the woods, cut off from stresses and strains of life. A challenging drive but well worth it. Sabina and Walter were helpful throughout. Loved our stay there and would go back. Thx again.

La choza de Puri es una maravilla. Ubicada en un sitio tranquilo y a la vez cerca de los puntos más bonitos de la zona. Tanto Puri como su marido fueron muy amables y dispuestos. Gracias! ¡Volveremos!

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! Wir sind von Martine und Ron herzlich empfangen worden und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Paradies mit einer tollen Aussicht und einem schönen Pool. Es war alles sehr sauber mit einer guten und gepflegten Ausstattung. Im naheliegenden Coin gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige gute Restaurants. Von Martine und Ron haben wir tolle Tipps erhalten und sie waren jederzeit erreichbar. Von uns kann es nur 5 Sterne geben! Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche von Meike und Peter aus Wedel.

Hemos estado muy agusto pasando unos días fantásticos, la casa tiene toda las comodidades y no es necesario ni salir, hay mucha paz y mucha calma Ildefonso siempre pendiente de todo, un placer, seguramente en un futuro volvamos a repetir.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jarandalus for 5 days, looking for a peaceful home in beautiful surroundings, and we got exactly that. The house and gardens are amazing, and the views are breath taking. The home feels luxurious, and Salvador and Isabel were warm and welcoming when we arrived, and Salvador was available and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The barbecue was excellent, the pool was lovely, and we greatly enjoyed being in the grounds of the house. The location has fantastic views and is close to several small towns, and only 30 minutes from Ronda, so is convenient but is at enough distance to give a peaceful and quiet stay. This was well worth the money, we loved our stay, and hope to return some day in the future.

Ein Kleinod mitten in den Hügeln umgeben von Natur. Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach wunderbar. Man hat einen 360 Grad Rundumblick. Der Pool ist vorne flach und hinten 2 Meter tief so dass man problemlos reinspringen kann. Das Areal bietet viele Sitz - Liegeplätze zum verweilen. Das Haus ist entzückend im spanischen Stiel gebaut und sehr sauber. Es fehlt an nichts, ob elektrischen Orangenentsafter, Kaffemashcine usw. Ist alles nötige vorhanden. ÜberGewürze, Alufolie, Shapoo, Duschgel, Mülltüten, Toilettenpapier, Handtücher alles war in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden wir mussten nichts kaufen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Stadt Colin ist 5 km entfernt. Dort findet man eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Supermärkten was wir auch zu schätzen wussten. Jesus ist ein sehr netter, zuvorkommender Vermieter der sofort bei jeglichen Problemen oder Fragen verfügbar ist und Abhilfe leistet. Danke Jesus für so ein schöne Zeit in deinem Haus.

Todo fue muy bien, lo único que no nos acompañó fue el tiempo, que nos llovió y eso hizo que no pudiésemos disfrutar todo todo al 100% Igualmente estuvimos muy cómodos y muy contentos con la casa.

Paqui and Jose Antonio were wonderful hosts and met us on arrival in a nearby restaurant to handover keys and direct us to the villa. The villa is superb and perfect for a quiet getaway which is exactly what we were after. It is just a short drive to the town of Coín which has an array of shops and restaurants. We ventured out for some great day trips including Ronda (hour drive west), Nerja (hour drive east), Malaga (30min drive) and a nice quiet beach (Playa del Peñón del Cuervo). The villa felt very spacious for the three of us and could easy accommodate more people. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need as well as an outdoor bbq and great seating. The three of us enjoyed returning to the villa after trips and relaxing round the pool each day. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Malaga or the nearby areas and for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would write even more positive feedback if this section did not have a word limit!

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

What a wonderful ten days! We loved the cottage with the well equipped kitchen, the views and the outdoor space. The house has both heaters and air conditioning, but during our stay we didn’t need to use either. Really enjoyed walking up into the village and into La Janda. Tanja kindly provided fruit from her garden with some breakfast treats. Great stay!

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

We loved the appartment (views are amazing) The cottage is full of life, not so much touristic, with a great vibe. There is a big supermarked close to the appartment, few pubs. People are friendly. Higly reccomended! we would visit again this place with a pleasure :)

​We had a 5-day stay at this rustic cottage in nature. If you're looking for a retreat surrounded by birdsong and greenery, this is the perfect spot. It truly feels like an escape into nature. That said, a car is needed, as the nearest town is a drive away and the last approx. 2 km of road is not smooth. The access to the cottage from the road might not be suitable for everyone—there are steep, winding stairs & uneven surfaces, so it’s something to consider for guests with limited mobility. Jens & Sarah were ​very good hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, making it a great option for remote workers, though the lighting indoors is ​ somewhat dim, so plan accordingly if you need a well-lit space to work. Being immersed in nature also means you may encounter insects or mosquitoes, so come prepared—but that’s part of the experience in such a beautifully natural setting. All in all, a peaceful and authentic getaway in nature.

Beautiful views!!! This house was amazing. It had everything you could need and more. The host Raquel was great, she sent over recommendations and directions for everything. Would recommend as a peaceful getaway to the mountains.

David was great, I wish I spoke Spanish as well as he speaks English. We had a minor issue with the boiler which David resolved immediately. Only thing I would suggest is a 'manual' for the house so we knew about the boiler, washing machine etc but perhaps difficult if he has to do it in French, German, English etc! But a very minor point, we had a great and very comfortable week in David's house. Recommended! Simon
