Monthly Rentals in Villa Vela

A lovely place introduced by a lovely host who gave me some history of the surroudings. I wasn't able to stroll through the nearby olive groves because it was raining, but in sunshine this would be a beautiful place to stay. The bed is magnificent, the whole interior and exterior beautifully done. My only criticisms would be the tiny shower and the lack of utensils in the kitchen, like a proper knife.

We had a wonderful few days stay. The house and gardens are just beautiful, even better than the images. Ketty the housekeeper was lovely and Francesca was very responsive. The house is situated 15 min drive from Noto so very simple to get to the shops etc. There are no shops/restaurants within walking distance but we were able to drive a short distance to get everything we needed. Would highly recommend anyone looking for beautiful and traditional Italian villa in a quiet and relaxing area.

The experiences we had in this beautiful country house as guests of Vincenzo are indescribable: On the one hand, the accommodation is perfectly located on a mountain with a wide view of the valley, surrounded by several flower meadows. The place is very spacious and has a large terrace. Everything was clean and lovingly furnished. In the evenings it was still quite cool in April, so we used the fireplace. For which everything necessary was put together and provided and we could enjoy the warmth. On the other hand, the highlight is Vincenzo himself and his animals, who also live on the property. We received detailed tips for the area and were always warmly welcomed and sniffed by everyone :) Overall a delight!

We loved this space - the location was stunning, very remote but that provided the most peaceful and tranquil stay. The House is stunning and has been renovated to a great standard but also with consideration for its heritage. Fabio was always available on message very promptly to answer any questions, guides and clear instructions for everything are provided and nothing is left unthought of. Would absolutely recommend the place the host and the area - Noto and the surrounding area is stunning and well worth a visit. We can't wait to return sometime.
