Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vila Praia de Âncora

The facilities are magnificent . We were a group of 14, 4 couples and 6 young people, and we all liked it very much. The house is even better than what it looks in the pictures and there is no shortage of anything. We took advantage of the swimming pool, barbecue, enjoyed a lot of outdoor space and we still took walks in the area that is very beautiful and interesting.

Very cozy and thought out with all the care and detail: from the quality of the beds to the robes, towels and hygiene products offered.

We really enjoyed this villa, its wide open spaces, swimming pool and beautiful well-maintained garden. The on-site caretakers have always listened to us to facilitate our stay.

All bedrooms are spacious and well appointed and even for water features In short, we spent two weeks of awesome vacation in your charming house and we thank you very much for it. The beautiful and pure place in the forest, for those who like to contemplate nature. We also love the pool. The hostess was very attentive. Thanks Manuela for seeing us again!

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

Everything was perfect! Well-located apartment near the beach, clean and as described. Nice pool and lit from the living room, very practical. Hugo was very friendly and they made everything very comfortable for our stay with children. Thank you so much for everything!

The pictures don't do the place justice, it was quite roomy and spacious, beautiful and private. We can't wait to come back.

Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

the stay was great, we were not lucky with time to enjoy the pool. the walls have very low parts, the dogs end up jumping, and in our opinion, there should be a protection behind the spraying machines.

The stay was very pleasant, the house is located a few minutes from the center of the city of Apulia, a quiet area ideal for going to disconnect. In my case we were a family and we were delighted with both the house and the place, clean, tidy, with all the accessories to make you feel at home. Separate mention for the friendliness of Fernando who advised me and recommended how to get to the place and how to access the area of the house easier, I will definitely come back enchanted when I'm around! 👌🏽👏🏽

We stayed at Luís' placec as a group of 6 people over a weekend and we were blown away by it! We have used AirBnB as a group for weekend stays for many years now and this might have been the best house we've been to yet. Clean, extremely spacious (more adequate for around 10 people, really), nice pool, with plenty of amenities and little bonuses (such as the very nice small "locker room" by the pool and the small yard surrounding it). The house is fully equipped with the essentials, the WiFi reaches every room and the appliances are modern and well-kept (save for the TV but it's still nice and more than good enough). We had a lovely stay, a great check-in (Ângela was very nice and warm, made sure we got to know the house well) and we definitely want to return in the near future!

A perfect quiet place for a surf retreat on Cabedelo beach. Very close to the beach, with several options for walking trails. Marta is an excellent host. Very friendly, helpful, versatile and proactive. Highly recommended.

The house is very well located. Quiet but very close to Caminha. It has all the necessary amenities as well as the comfort. The pool is an amazing bonus for a relaxing day. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I'm sure we'll be back.

Beautiful contemporary house with space, very beautiful and vast garden to enjoy the outside. Perfect for a large group where everyone can also isolate themselves. Very good welcome from the owners, responsive and available if you have any questions. I recommend it!!

Great home with all amenities. Site quite private. All indications were provided about home and surroundings. We arrived and we had a basket waiting for us. I can only say good things about this option.

The most charming house with lots of character within walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Afife. The house is beautiful and so is the garden and pool area. Dulce and her daughter Joana were really helpful with any requests and information needed. The house was great for kids and even came with toys and books to keep them entertained (1&3 year old). We would love to come back!

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is very well equipped. A big thank you rosa for this great vacation. Small downside, access is not the simplest but with the habit it goes on its own. Celine Julien Lucie and Lena

A Calm Site, near town Ideal to reflect and rest

I stayed here with my two children, aged two and seven, and it had a safe and large garden for children. I travel frequently in Portugal, it was one of the places I felt most comfortable in. There are shopping opportunities in the area. It is a convenient way to come by car. They were flexible about the check-out time, which was very kind. We definitely plan to come again.
