I have no hesitation in highly recommending this Villa. It is exactly as described and has everything you would need for your break in Burgau . The villa itself is only a couple of minutes walking distance from the heart of this charming village and beach. Great place, you won’t be disappointed

Just returned from a wonderful 12 nights at Bridget’s place (4 adults and 2 children). The villa is lovely- really clean and on a beautiful golf course and a stones throw from the pool (big pool and kids pool), play area and on site restaurant. There are quite a few stairs in the villa so may not be that suitable for toddlers. The location is perfect for going to nearby beaches- Burgau, Luz and Salema. We have been coming to this part of the Algarve for the last 20 years but thanks to the host’s recommendations in the guide book we visited Zavials beach and restaurant which we absolutely loved! Bridget was so helpful and accommodating before our stay, replying quickly to any queries. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We had the most amazing stay. We found the home perfect for our family with everything we needed. The location was perfect for us with a 5 min walk to the beach and also walks along the hills from the back of the house to other beaches. The house has a great pool for cooling off and having a dip, the photos did not do it justice. A car is beneficial to get out and about in the Algarve. Helen was always friendly and responsive in her communication.i would definitely recommend this air bnb and will definitely be coming back!

Hôte très réactif, le logement est très accueillant et très bien situé. Beaucoup d’ustensiles pour cuisiner, les équipements sont à la hauteur de la description. La douche est assez étroite, dommage que le lavabo prenne autant de place dans la salle de bain. Dans l’ensemble très belle maison, très confortable et bien située dans le centre. Je recommande sans aucun doute !

Wir hatten lange im Voraus gebucht. Da es unser erster Portugal Urlaub war, hatten wir keinerlei Erfahrung welche Umgebung für uns die Beste und Schönste sei. Wir sind eine Familie mit 3 Kindern (19,16,11) und wir entschieden uns für Burgau. Nach 2 Wochen Urlaub können wir zu 100 Prozent sagen, dass es die richtige Entscheidung war. Burgau ist ein kleines, wunderschönes, ursprüngliches Örtchen an den man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen kann. Das Haus machte das ganze zu einem perfekten Urlaub. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt im Haus. Es ist so ursprünglich und mit Liebe zum Details restauriert dass man es einfach nur lieben kann. Das Haus ist viel schöner als es die Bilder zeigen können! Es ist alles fußläufig erreichbar und man hat sogar einen kleinen Laden direkt vor der Haustür. Bis zum Strand ist es gefühlt eine Minute und die Spaziergänge durch die kleinen Gassen sind einfach schön. Wir haben die Zeit in Familie sehr genossen! Thanks Matt

Das Haus ist super schön in einem kleinen portugiesischen Dorf etwas abseits der touristischen Orte gelegen. Das hat uns gut gefallen. Da wir über Silvester da waren, war es etwas kalt im Haus, aber der Gasofen hat recht gut funktioniert. Unsere Kids fanden das Haus auch super. Ein typisches, kleines portugiesisches Haus mit Charme. Wir hatten einen coolen Aufenthalt.

We thoroughly recommend staying at the villa. Golfers will particularly appreciate its situation ( a walk through back gate to 3rd hole). Pool worthwhile heating. A car is a must as 10 min ride to beach, parking in high season limited and supermarket downhill and 5 mins ride. Villa extremely clean and well furnished. Welcome hamper is great start. Maria the agent on site very helpful if a little difficult to get hold of sometimes.

Luis’ townhouse is absolutely perfect for a short getaway to the beautiful Western Algarve. Very spacious property with two large bedrooms (would comfortably sleep 4 assuming two sharing the master bedroom), two balconies (including one with a small plancha / grill), a well equipped kitchen and a nice open plan living area. Well located in the middle of the Quinta da Encosta Velha development, a c.10 minute drive from Salema beach. We were able to negotiate pool and gym access for €100 (for the week) in Parque da Floresta, which is on the other side of the golf course. It is a little busier and good for those with children. Super simple check in and out, very clear instructions, ample parking and overall a seamless and very enjoyable stay! Many thanks to Luis.

Rui's place is absolutely perfect - even better than the photos! The house is gorgeous. The outdoor spaces are exactly what you need after a long surf and the location couldn't be better. It is quiet but an easy walk into town. Parking is readily available and the wifi is great! Don't hesitate to stay here!

Great place to stay as a base for walking the coastal trails of the western Algarve. Easy to find, and Scott gave us a warm welcome and explained how everything worked. Bedroom and living area were a good size for the 2 of us. Well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare and cook simple meals (even has good knives, which are rare in rentals), plus 2 types of coffee maker - hurrah! The bed is comfortable and the shower excellent! Terraces off the kitchen and on the roof looked lovely, but, sadly, we didn’t have enough good weather to enjoy them fully. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Szuper szálláshely, tökéletes lokáció, 3 percre a tengerparttól, gyönyörű helyen. A szálláshelyen minden pontosan olyan, mint a leírásban és a képeken. Mindennel felszerelt, amire szükség van. Kitűnő kommunikáció, teljesen érthető minden, pontos, részletes információ érkezéskor és távozáskor is. Összességében ez egy nagyszerű szálláshely, ahová reméljük még vissza tudunk térni! Köszönjük!

Vi hade en fantastisk semester i Pers hus. Fantastiska vandringar längs kusten. Egen pool är ju ett plus när havet är kallt. Nära till strand och restauranger. Per var snabb att fixa fler vinglas då det bara fanns två kvar när vi anlände.

A great house with lovely sea views, we really enjoyed our stay and made good use of the pool on the sunny days across the week. The house far exceeded our expectations, spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. A 10 minute walk to local shops, restaurants, and the beach with larger supermarkets a 10 minute drive away in Lagos. Our hosts were very responsive throughout and we appreciated the ease of access given our late evening arrival.

superbe logement face à la mer qui propose 4 chambres et 4 salles de bain et 1 jaccuzzi. nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille avec nos 4 enfants. hôte très gentil et un jacuzzi 6 places. supermarché et restaurants à proximité, accessibles à pied. emplacement pour la voiture privé et gratuite nous vous recommandons ce logement très agréable.

Mary's place is fantastic. We were there as a family of 4 with 2 children (8 & 11) and we had plenty of room. We felt very safe and comfortable here. Everything you need/want is within walking distance - Lagos is a great place to visit and this is a great spot to stay. Also a great spot to visit all of the Algarve from with a rental car. The public parking lot is a great perk and easy walk from the apartment. The balconies are great, the windows open and let the air flow through, so much charm - I just want to go back!

Best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Luís thought of everything! There were plenty of nice beach towels available, many easily accessible outlets, superbly stocked kitchen with variety of plates, glasses and silverware. The pool was an added treat and was very clean and well taken care of. In fact, the whole house was immaculate! We highly recommend Luis’s place! Also, Luís was very communicative and always responsive and a wonderful person. Thank you Luís!

Wir verbrachten 2 Wochen mit unseren Kids in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Uns wurde es nie langweilig, da der schöne Stadtkern von Lagos zu Fuss sehr gut erreichbar ist und es so viel zu entdecken gibt. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Mila war absolut zuverlässig und angenehm. Danke! :-)

Mar is a beautiful soul. So helpful and friendly.Gave us lift back from supermkt which was so nice . Being so helpful even though she was getting married on the Tuesday Where else can you wash n dry your washing where soap powder is included. So handy Super place to stay. We loved it and wish we had booked an extra week. Yes the trains went past but that’s why we booked the train villa , because we wanted a different experience and away from touristy places. We got used to them and rode on them such a lot. Being a pensioner we got discount which made it cheaper too. We went to the castle at Silves using the train. We did lots of hiking and a boat trip into Bengil cave n more. We used the bikes to cycle the trail to see lots of birds including storks n flamingos. Everybody is so friendly. The lady at local supermarket was very helpful too. Great place to shop. We highly recommend. Thank you so much for an awesome stay Mar

The view! Upper deck was lovely to sit on and look out. So beautiful to look at the ocean. The proximity to old town was great and so easy to walk to.

It’s perfect, walking distance to old Lagos town loads of restaurants, shops, places to wander about. The apartment/house is an absolute gem, chilled fabulous terrace not overlooked great place to sunbathe and have breakfast, even a beach within 15 minutes. The feel of being in traditional Portugal with being chilled. Kubi the host responds almost immediately if you need anything, which in fairness we only had a couple of questions, but she was happy to help. There are two short lots of stairs, no problem for us at all, but possibly not as friendly if you have any mobility issues. All the amenities in the house were great, perfect welcoming, clean and comfortable. The second “bedroom” is an adventure but would be fine for another couple or young teenagers it is over the stairwell. We utterly loved the whole place and would buy it if it came on the market 😊

We had a fantastic time at Daniela's place. The house is exactly as described and as can be seen on the pictures. We loved that she left a bottle of wine and some croissants for breakfast for us upon arrival. The neighborhood is lovely and it is only a short walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the place.

Sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit Charme. Sehr schöner kurzer Weg zum Meer. Betreuung hat auch den Sonderwunsch nach Wolldecken schnell erfüllt.

this place is definitely one of my favorites. an amazing view and. few minutes walk to Arrifana. calm and peaceful but few minutes away from the night life and the best restaurants in town.
