You will love my home because it is a cottage with a fantastic location at the end of the forest and with the water as the nearest neighbor a few meters from the front door. The house is located by itself on the beach, and here is idyllic, peace and quiet. The cottage is located in the middle of nature, and you will wake up to the sound of waves and wildlife close by. The house is in itself simply furnished, but meets all everyday needs. My place is good for couples and suitable for nature and cultural tourists.

The cottage

"The cabin" is a fully insulated wooden cabin with underfloor heating in all rooms. Large living room with kitchen (sofa bed), one room (sofa bed), toilet with bath and a large loft. The “cabin” is 66 m2 and was newly built in 2017. It is located at the bottom of our garden in a private villa area overlooking open fields and trail systems close to forest and beach. There is a path to the water (10 min. walk) and Glyngøre town, where you will find shopping and restaurants. The kitchen includes fridge/freezer, oven, hobs, kettle, coffee maker, service.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There's a nice sofa bed and good box mattresses.

The home is located in rural surroundings with many opportunities for experiences in nature. Parking right at the door. "Aftægtshuset" is a home of 80 m2, of which 50 m2 is used by AirB&b guests. 2 beds with the possibility of additional bedding. Bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. Note that there is no stove. Try, for example, a hike on the Himmerland Trail, a fishing trip at the beautiful Simested Å, or visit the lovely Rosenpark and activity park. The area also offers exciting museums.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. My place is close to public transportation. You'll love my place because of the light, the surroundings, the outdoor area. It is about 1500 meters to the city center and pedestrian street. Approx. 3000m to marina, beach and forest. My place is good for singles, couples and couples with children (max. 3) and business travelers.
