Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view is the absolute highlight. The rooms are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

Clean and tidy apartment, quiet and convenient area to get to Lecco and Bellagio, the host was available for some questions, there were 2 of us but 4 people can stay comfortably.

We had a great time at Ivana's place. The house is very charming, impeccably clean in a splendid setting, offering absolutely magnificent views! If you're looking for a change of scenery, tranquility and green nature, you've come to the right place! Ivana is a very thoughtful, generous and friendly host who made our stay memorable. Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

Words can not describe how incredible this place was. The photos do not do the villa justice of how incredible the view was. Michela was a fantastic host who met us and showed up around the villa. It has more appliances than an electrical, and has everything you need. If you can make time to stay here I would highly recommend it. A true authentic Italian getaway at Lake Como. Wow, wow, wow!!

Really comfortable space with beautiful scenery.

The accommodation is simply unique! The view with the pool is really gigantic! The place was a dream, we will be back! Everything was as described and in the photos. A super large and modern bathroom.

I stayed here while visiting Lake Como and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The place was beautiful, super comfortable, and exactly what I needed. Everything was smooth and easy, and it really felt like a little escape. Would 100% recommend.

Antonio and Christian were amazing hosts during our recent stay in Lake Como. Always responsive to messages and the apartment was perfect for a family of 6. Spotless and had everything you need to cook (Antonio even set up the BBQ for us one night!). It felt like a private pool with all the different areas to lie and enjoy the breathtaking views. Apartment is close walking distance into Gravedona for some nice meals out and bars too. They even let some of us check in early and left a bottle of Prosecco as we were celebrating a big birthday, lovely touches. Couldn’t recommend them more and will definitely be back if we get the chance.

This place has fantastic views and all the basic necessities you need, plus some extra treats! Andrea (co-host) was extremely helpful and friendly at all times. The apartment is situated up in the hills which makes for a difficult walk, so we recommend pre-booking a taxi from Varenna train station or rent a car. Get the ferry from Varenna to Bellagio - it’s stunning! Thanks again Chiara/Andrea. We loved every second and the views from the balcony are just incredible.

Marcus and Simona are perfect AirBnB hosts. The place is gorgeous; even better than the photos, which do not do it justice. The house was immaculate, and the most comfortable bed and linens I’ve experienced in a rental. Marcus went out of his way to accommodate us with recommendations and assistance from months before we arrived and always made himself available for help. I brought my older parents with me, who had some issues with the walk to the house - it’s about 2-3 minutes downhill and through cobblestones and rough gravel to get to the house - but worth every minute once you are there. I recommend you pack as light as possible - we had 3 large suitcases and 2 huge duffel bags plus carryons because we are on a long trip, which made it extra tough to load in and out. I actually left 2 suitcases in the car and took what we needed. Aside from the challenges because of our bags and some limited mobility, their home easily ranks in my Top 3 of all places I’ve been. Will be back!

Oh my GOD we could not have loved this place more. Absolutely perfect location - Varenna is definitely my favorite of the local towns & the accessibility to everything the town had to offer was a major highlight. The view from the living room was incredible and Andrea was great to communicate with. We even dropped a piece of clothing off the clothing line and he retrieved it for us. HIGHLY recommend this Airbnb to everyone & will be raving about it forever. Thank you Andrea!

What a wonderful stay at La Sirena. Giuseppe was a responsive and attentive host. It was all of the little details that made this a 5 star review - the pick-up and drop-off from the train station, the kitchen stocked with pastas, pestos, water and prosecco, the amazing view…Perfect location - easy 15 minute walk to Varenna. The apartment is off the main road to Varenna…so it can be quite noisy, particularly when the windows were open (although it was manageable at night with the windows closed). As others have noted, the bed is a pullout sofa - however the mattress and pillows are quite comfortable.

We loved our stay at Casa Sole! The location truly is perfect. Close to the ferry, super walkable to local restaurants in the area. Alberto was very responsive and helpful. Not to mention, the view from the balconies was spectacular! Can’t wait to come back one day!

We had such a lovely time in Varenna! Claudia’s place was a charming and unique antique experience. The apartment has a sweet Victorian style and is nestled right next to a famous castle—so dreamy! It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. After long days of walking and sightseeing, it was the perfect place to unwind. The hike up to it was a bit of a workout, but we had so much fun—it added to the adventure!

Elisas place is so lovely. It is well located but still a bit away from the main centers close to varenna. The rooms are well thought through and give enough space for a small family. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back with a bit of more time in pocket:)

Kicca's place was exactly as described. The garden with access to the lake is fantastic. Unfortunately, we caught a very rainy time. Then you should keep in mind that the apartment is very small and the ventilation in the bathroom was not sufficient, so that it partly led to an unpleasant smell and humidity. If it's warmer and sunnier, that shouldn't be a problem. By car, very close to Bellaggio. Shop beforehand - no great shopping nearby. Overall recommended!

We loved our two-night stay at Paola’s apartment. It was comfortable and cozy and yet very spacious for our family of three and had everything we needed. When it was very warm outside, it felt nice and cool inside the apartment. We appreciated the washing machine and the large drying rack. We also appreciated the food items Paola provided. The apartment is about 15 minutes walk from town center and ferry, a very pleasant walk if you don’t have large suitcases to carry. Located steps away from a public parking lot, parking is very convenient. While you may have to pay for parking (through an app) from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, this large parking lot does have some free slots — those toward the back, on the gravel. Chances are by late afternoon you’ll be able to get a free slot there.
