Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

Old cozy timber house from 1835. Renovated in 2014, new bathroom, new kitchen, loft with 2 beds and a bedroom with a double bed. Stova has me kept in old style. The house is located on a farm where there is a sheepholding. Great space if you want to roleize surroundings . We have a cat on the farm. Nice view over Sognefjord. About 1,5 km to convenience store.(Mon-Fri 11-1730 Sat 10-14 Feios is a small village located 2 miles from Vik. Lots of nice hiking opportunities. You have the nature surrounding you . Can go mountaintura from the door.

Quiet location on the lake and yet quickly in the next town for shopping or restaurant visits. We spent 2 nights there and got along well without a shower. The living room with the wood stove is especially cozy!

Synnove’s cabin is amazing. From her greeting you as you drive in and escorting you to the cabin to ensure your every comfort is satisfied. The view is absolutely breathtaking. A simply wonderful experience we would highly recommend.

Bekka’s home was our favorite place to stay in all of Norway! We have come to Norway every year for 7 years and absolutely love to come to Balestrand to relax and this place is the best place to feel at home away from home! We loved just hanging out inside her cozy cottage… but we also loved being able to walk to Ciderhuset for an absolutely incredible cider tasting that was paired with such delectable and unique flavors for lunch. We took a walk up the hill for spectacular views of the expansive Sognefjord. We walked into town for a nice dinner near the water at Pear by Harbor right near the ferry dock. We loved sipping our coffee while the sun popped up over the mountain. Loved our time here. We want to come back! We did NOT want to leave!

Beautiful location amongst mountains and water. Everything in the cabin was clean and loved the local juices and jam set out for us . Veronica was kind to get our luggage up to the cabin with her ATV. We also enjoyed the hot tub out in front. One thing to note I’m not sure if there is wifi available. But this didn’t end up being an issue for us since my partner had his cellular working.
