Breathtaking views of the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. There is a lot of eagles, especially sea eagles, but also golden eagles. Follow us on insta on Birdbox Sotra If you want to rent a kayak, we recommend northernexposure.

You will love my place because of the location, the outdoor area, and the atmosphere. New kitchen is installed in June-2018. It is perfect for couples and solo travelers. The place is 25 min by car from Bergen city and only 10min to both Arna and Åsane (with small shopping senters). It is desirable that you have a car, because public transportation is about 25 min away by foot. The location offers great hikes in the mountain and other beautiful trails in the woods. Great view from the studio.

You also see Maria church, the medieval building is one of the oldest in Bergen. Both the church and Bryggen is less then 100m from the house, and you can walk to any of the viewpoints of Bergen. You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public.
