For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

Mr. QUESNEL is a welcoming, friendly and respectful host. He informed us about the different shops and festivities nearby. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and very pleasant to stay in. We had a great time with the family. A stay to be repeated without hesitation.

Sylvie's cottage is peaceful and warm. The restoration of this old house is done tastefully. The house is spacious and comfortable. The garden is nice, peaceful and populated with cats.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

Beautiful house in ideal location if you come to Normandy for the history of WWII. Great living room and kitchen with all appliances. Two bedrooms with excellent beds and spacious, bright bathroom with toilet. Were very warmly received and if we go to Normandy again, we will definitely come back here.

We came for a family party in the area and were able to spend a nice weekend in Franck's home. Well located for accessing Caen, the small house is well furnished and beautifully decorated. We slept well and especially enjoyed the orange juicer at breakfast.

Cathy's place was just the perfect place for visiting Normandy during the D Day anniversary. It was one of those places that made you feel right at home, even with the language barrier. I've been trying to go visit the beaches in Normandy for the last 25 years, and I finally got the chance to visit and have a comfortable place to stay made it all worth while.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

Going to Normandy with my 83 year old grandpa was easy and exactly what we had hoped for thanks to Sandra’s location. Great space that was very quiet and private in a beautiful neighborhood, within a walkable distance to the city center. My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

We needed a place to stay in Caen with our dog so we could explore the area and Arnaud’s place was absolutely perfect. The location is very central and yet also very private with it’s completely enclosed garden. We were welcomed personally and immediately felt at home and comfortable. It is quiet and peaceful, and ideal for our dog who just wanted to relax in the shade. All of the things inside worked perfectly and the home itself is very well equipped. We highly recommend Arnaud’s place and will stay there again when we visit Caen.

Romain’s house in Thue et Mue is the perfect home in which to relax in and from which you can explore Normandy, the impressive D-Day beaches, Caen & Bayeau. The house is spacious and it offers all the necessary amenities for a family with two children and a dog. The garden is great for enjoying the weather and on site parking offers ease and peace of mind. Romain and his family were very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. We recommend it to all.

The property and hosts were both excellent, we had a great time visiting an appreciated the private and beautiful location. It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and found the hosts to be truly wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

Awesome stay in this cute house! So so clean with lovely linens. Great kitchen set up- we loved the juicer for orange pressé! Amazing having the gym and used badminton rackets for some evening fun. Really easy to get to a little town for bread and croissants, vegetables and even a mini market. We visited Bayeux, Deauville and Honfleur really easily and it was lovely to come out of the towns and back to this house! Thank you- we loved it!!
