This was a beautiful place to stay after visiting lots of places in and around La Rochelle. Really peaceful and cool after a hot day at the beach. We loved that it wasn't too close to the centre, everything was a short drive away. We highly recommend this accommodation, you will not be disappointed and our host was really fantastic and very quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

Julien and Auriole were perfect hosts. The location was just perfect and almost grand design with the decor and layout carefully created. The pool & bbq area was brilliant too. My only critique is that Julien should get professional photos. The ones on the website do not do justice as to what an incredible place it really is. Thank you for hosting us 👏🏼

This is a great place to stay in La Rochelle! The place is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. The location, in the historical part of La Rochelle, is close to everything : restaurants, grocery stores, shops and waterfront. Christèle was a very attentive and responsive host I highly recommend!

so good we stayed another night, perfect location, park the car in their garage and wander around this beautiful city. Frederick could not have been more helpful and left us at ease, can't wait to come back for longer next year.

We just had a very successful stay in this very pretty house in Portes en Ré. We were 9 adults and 2 children (ages 7 and 8). The house is furnished with great comfort and high-quality services. We loved cooking in its beautiful, ultra-functional open space for the 11 of us. Lots of space towards very comfortable rooms well equipped with bathrooms. And especially an independent space for us parents who invite our children. Another summer dining room with large plancha and of course the beautiful heated pool in the very pretty garden with designer furniture. Finally, the children were able to enjoy the pétanque and the basketball court when returning from their walks. The joy of being with family in this great house.

David-Paul's house is the ideal home base for exploring the whole island. It is very nice and decorated with a lot of taste. It can come right out of a booklet. All materials are quality and the bed has a particularly good mattress. It is also very cozy in the evenings. The garden is large enough to be able to crawl away in every corner with a good reading book and a bag of coffee or aperitif. A blissful place to stay. If we are back in the area, we will definitely come back here. It was not rented on our last day and were allowed to check out what time we wanted. Particularly thoughtful of David-Paul. A top stay. We had a fantastic week as a family of 10, ranging in age 83 to 16. The space was absolutely perfect for us to spend time together in the lounge and around the swimming pool. Not many places are this close to a beautiful sandy beach with les halles less than 5 mins away by cycle. We loved Les Bois en Plage and highly recommend it for everything it has to offer. A special thanks to Emmanuelle for being such a responsive and considerate host...answering so many of our questions!

The layout of the villa is perfect for multi-generation family holidays with space to come together combined with distinct bedroom zones for added privacy. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The villa has off-street parking and the garage for safe storage of bicycles is a huge bonus. We had a great stay and give 5* rating.

A beautiful beachfront location. A very beautiful family house, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We did a lot of walking, in the center of Fouras, within walking distance. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.

Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.
