Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! Amazing Villa, even better than the photos suggest! Very peaceful and private. The outside space is perfect with ample seating areas and a fantastic pool (plus the whole pool area stays cool underfoot in the hottest sun, something you wouldn't think about but makes a big difference and not something i have come across before). Its a great location to watch the sunset in the evenings too on the comfortable sofas. The villa was very comfortable with great AC and smart TV's in all rooms but we spent all our time outside. Its a 5 minute walk down the hill into the wonderful village of Margarites with lots of nice Tavernas and Cafe and a very useful small supermarket. I think its famous for its pottery shops as you get lots of tourists there but was never too busy during our stay and the villa is the perfect distance away. Highly recommended!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The village of Margarites is truly beautiful (with amazing pottery) and the locals are very friendly. The villa itself is breathtaking and very special, literally picture perfect. As we went in April it was sadly a bit too cold for the pool but the beautiful surroundings more than made up for it. Our local host was very friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Lovely villa and garden in a quiet spot. Kostas and Elizabeth were very approachable and responded quickly to any queries. As others have said, the only slight draw back is the approach to the villa down a very narrow drive with a right angled turn which took some manoeuvring even in our smallish car. We got used to it and ultimately this didn't spoil our enjoyment of this beautiful property.
