Cozy mountain cabin on Tungestølen

Experience real Norwegian mountain idyll in our cozy little cabin at Tungestølen! This charming cottage is located right under DNT's tourist cottage and a stone's throw from the Jostedalsbreen National Park, providing easy access to great hiking trails and activities. While the cabin is simple with no running water and electricity, it has everything you need for a comfortable experience. Outhouse is available and fresh water can be collected from the river 30 meters from the cabin. The cottage must be cleaned even after use and guests must bring their own bed linen.

Gas refrigerator and gas burner, solar cell for charging. You can rent a hot tub, electric bicycles, SUP boards or a snazzy Fiat 500 to drive around (for a fee, NOK 1500 for the hot tub). Great hiking opportunities in the community. Mountains and water! Park up on the farm and walk down about 250 meters to the cabin. The hot tub and shower are located next to the main house. Jølet- Elvedrømmen

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Renovated, older farmhouse with unparalleled views! The area here is perfect for an active vacation, summer and winter! After a good day on the go, possibly in the sunshine, there is a private outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the views and the evening peace! In the house you will find pictures and trip tips from the surrounding area. All the tours mentioned are tried and recommended by our small, sprightly co-hosts of 10, 12 and 14 years! Bed linens and towels are included in the rent and are ready for your arrival!

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. While you relax in the comfortable cabin, you might be lucky enough to spot deer grazing and eagles soaring just outside the window. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, surrounded by the landscapes Western Norway is known for.

Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.
