What a gloriously quirky and unique stay! The Captain's Cabin is truly the perfect spot to tune out of the comings and goings of life and tune into the divine landscape it so wonderfully facilitates an outlook upon due to its elevated location. Inside you couldn't want for more, perfectly laid out and considered, it has a real charm. The sunsets were spectacular, we didn't light the fire due to the lovely weather we were blessed with, I can only imagine how cosy and nourishing that would also be within the space. Only a 25 minute drive to Lochaline Ferry we done a few days over on the Isle of Mull (landing at Fishnish port) with ease. Would return again and intrigued to check out the hosts other properties as they look equally as wonderful.

A cosy, welcoming and stylish little cottage on an Incredible little island, with wonderful history and amazing views across the coastline. Very friendly and helpful locals and ferry men. Could have stayed for longer!

equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

This cottage is in an amazing location. The views from the living room were outstanding at every time of day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Despite its remote location (which makes it so peaceful) there is plenty to do, with walks to wild places, boat trips and even a little bistro restaurant (Elgol Bistro) offering lovely food. We loved staying here.

Our visit to Ella's place on Mull exceeded expectations! The Blue House instantly felt like home, with all the amenities we needed. Located in a quiet area just a short distance from Tobermory, it’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to the town. The 10 minute walk into Tobermory was very pleasant. Ella was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations for the area. The Blue House, part of a vibrant row of homes, felt like a beautiful homage to Tobermory's iconic colorful houses along the harbor. We highly recommend this charming house to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future!

We had a fabulous stay at Elizabeth’s accommodation. Elizabeth was a friendly , helpful host and was able to give us some insight to the area , places to visit etc . The inside of the chalet was homely , spotless and very comfortable with lovely little touches . Elizabeth has thought of pretty much everything in kitting it out . The view is stunning from chalet . Would definitely recommend and will definitely make a return visit 😊

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful little cottage. Like a tardis with a nice roomy, cosy interior. Lots of space for cooking and very well equipped. The cottage has a fascinating history, which we learned from Maria, information in the cottage and a mention in the Kildonian museum, which especially opened for us as it closes for the winter in October. Despite the closure of cafes and tourist sites for the winter, we still managed lots of beautiful walks with magical views, and to shop well for a restorative feast at the end of the day. Also, enjoyed a fanastic evening of Scottish music at the Ceolas centre and a trip to Barra and the cafe in the lovely community gardens there, plus stocking up on seafood at the Barratlantic shop and things to take home at the Buth Bharraigh community shop. A lovely place to stay and a great location.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Great location - 5 min walk from the co-op, 15 mins walk to the centre of Castlebay. We stayed with our two young kids and their grandparents. Everyone was comfortable, there were appropriately designed bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all ages. The house was warm throughout and features a comfy living room, big dining table - and a bright and welcoming kitchen with a nice, smaller table for breakfast. Definitely hope to stay here again and happily recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was super cosy and the beds very comfortable. Kitchen has lots of amenities! Location was top tier, only a 15 minute walk to the ferry port to Isle of Iona. Rachel and Matt were super friendly and helpful hosts and very responsive. They kindly came to pick us up when our car broke down on day 1! Highly recommend staying here.
