A whole island for yourself with a cute cabin for two people with the basic necessities and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can catch fish, spot eagles and sea-otters, watch the endless sunset and be directly in nature undisturbed by the modern world. A small rowing boat is included. The cabin in the woods is suitable for those who appreciate proximity to nature. The cabin has the forest as the closest neighbor, with hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Here you can really find peace if you want time for yourself, or quality time with someone you love. It is about 7 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the cabin. The first part is a gravel road/ski slope and the last part is a trail through the forest. IMPORTANT! The cabin has electricity, but not water.

There are plenty of local hikes in the area, and a scenic golf course just ten minutes away.

The boathouse is a bit provisional and simple, but gives a feeling of vacation and camping life. Sleep and wake up to the sound of waves and streams flowing outside the boathouse. Owls hooting and fish watching.

Cabin with amazing views

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic barn located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The barn is over a hundred years old, but has been renovated several times. Please note that the Stabburet has electricity, but no running water or toilet. Guests can use the shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away.
