Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Vasilikos

We had a wonderful stay at Mr Panagiotis's home. The photos don't do this place justice! The home was clean and equipped with everything needed, including fresh fruit and eggs. The location was peaceful, with a great bakery and restaurant (San Leon Tavern) just a few minutes walk away. It was also easy to access different sides of the island by car. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

A place where you just feel good! You will feel at home. The house is very well equipped. All that would be missing is deckchairs on the terrace to enjoy the cicadas singing among the olive trees so that everything is perfect. No pool but an outdoor shower allows you to cool off when it's very hot and rinse your feet back from the beach. There is air conditioning in each bedroom as well as in the living room. Ideally located in the center of the island, about 30mn from the essential points, 45mn for the ends of the island. Essential car. Small negative, the cleaning had not been done when we arrived (floor, sink, fridge), you should not be demanding on this point. But we have warned Ioannis (who is not present on site) who, we are sure, will not fail to be vigilant on this point for the next ones. Finally, there is a misunderstanding in the listing. Breakfast is not included. There is water, soluble coffee, small individual portions of strawberry jam, and that's it (and out of pdj: a bottle of wine for the stay). Not enough to eat breakfast or no one to bring it to you so as we expected (which is normally the case in other Airbnb of the world when the mention "breakfast included" is indicated). This was what guided our choice with respect to the budget and we had the "surprise" when we arrived. Despite these 2 small points, we already know that if we return to Zakynthos, we will return to this peaceful house with a beautiful view of the mountain.

The house is right next to a tiny beach with deck chairs. There's a kayak for guests to use for free, too. Georgios is very nice and helpful.

Upon arrival, we were immediately enthusiastically and kindly welcomed. How the house is described in the listing, that's what it looked like in person! Clean, spacious and met all wishes! Top service! The host is friendly and easy to reach for questions, activities and tips! With 11 friends we had a fun vacation!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described - luxurious, and spacious. The owner was incredibly responsive and always available to assist with any questions or needs, making the experience even smoother. Highly recommend :)

We especially thank Mrs. Vasiliki who not only welcomed us with a smile, kindness and promptness to us and our dog, but the pet friendly was more than valid, since Mrs. Vasiliki was holding our dog with her due to some obligations that we could not finally have with her and took us out of the difficult position! The location of the apartment is perfect. Great views on the ocean and a big garden. Dionysia is a very nice and helpful host. We stayed here before the start of the season. She helped us to get to the restaurants that were already open. Especially with warm weather, this place is fantastic!

I had a lovely stay at the Villa. Pavlos is a perfect Host and everything was exactly how i hoped it would be. I highly recommend this place. Location also perfect BTW ☺️

What can say, the stay was everything we wanted and more. The hosts were welcoming, easy to contact and quick to respond to messages. They came to clean our apartment twice in the week. Which for most Airbnbs you wouldn’t normally get this 5 star treatments. We had our own privacy. not even knowing there were others guests staying. Beautiful location, fantastic facilities. Thank you for making our stay relaxing.

We went as a family and we had an amazing time, the villa was excellent, surrounded by local shops and bakery’s all of which were run by very friendly and helpful people, we would definitely recommend if your looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful surroundings. The host and the people looking after the villa on a daily basis were amazing when anything was needed or just for general questions. We will definitely be returning one day many thanks

What an amazing property. Stefania was a wonderful host who was able to accommodate us at last minute after arriving and finding our original villa, in the marineika vanato region, was under the flight path, 3 flights per hour for 18hrs a day almost ruined our holiday but Ambelos Villa saved the day. The villa is beautifully designed, modern, very clean and well equipped. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is far bigger. Our children, 9 & 7, loved the mezzanine level with the lower roof, they enjoyed having their own seating area and bathroom. The pool and views are stunning. Sunrise with a coffee on the terrace with nothing but the sounds of nature was a highlight. Irini, the housekeeper is so friendly also. The area has lots of wonderful Taverna’s nearby, Votsalo being a must! Cameo Island is 15mins away. We hired quads to tour up to Zakynthos Town down to Vasilikous and back to the villa. A fun afternoon out. You will have a great holiday at this villa

Host was amazing and incredibly responsive ! Location is great as well. From what we could see of the island, location is just right - walkable distance to beach, restaurants and great spots ! Internet is slow so ensure you have empty data. I’ll say it again though, host made all the difference with his friendliness, recommendations and support !

We stayed at the air bnb for a week and had a great time. Place is quiet with a beautiful view. The house is beautiful too! Everything is kept clean and upon arrival there was a large fruit basket and Greek delicacies ready. We got plenty of tips to do in the area. She also arranged a rental car for us which was completely top. Everything went smoothly and are definitely planning to come back again.

Mirela was a very kind and helpful host. When we told her on our first day that we didn’t have a car, she and her husband were kind enough to arrange one for us and even drove us across the whole island for the car rental. Thanks to them we were able to comfortably drive to all the beautiful nearby beaches. Without it, it would’ve taken us hours to get around. The location was great! There were taverns (we highly recommend the galaxy and the athina taverna), souvenir shops and a mini market about 5min away. The Airbnb itself had everything we needed with all the amenities listed. The only small thing is that in one of the showers there wasn’t a glass wall to separate it from the toilet in front. But it didn’t bother much and we were still very satisfied with the place. We especially enjoyed the swings in the big garden, and the sounds of nature. Anafonitria is a beautiful city, with picturesque landscapes and kind locals, but also steep/curvy roads and mosquitoes, so be aware! :)

Christina does everything for you! She picked us up at the airport and took us back there without payment. We were connected by cell phone for the whole stay and Christina kept asking if everything was in order. Plus, she gave us valuable insider tips. Accommodation has a lovely garden and super quiet location. Can really only recommend it!!

Our stay in Zakynthos was wonderful. Organizationally worked out excellently with the accommodation. Although we were a little late from the flight, the host was waiting for us. The location is in a quiet spot. Opposite there is a tavern and a bar next to it. In the same street there is also a supermarket, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay. About 1 kilometer away is the house beach, which we only visited upon arrival. Our recommendation to explore the island and the beautiful different beaches/coves with a rental car. The property was cleaned every 3 days and changed laundry. Host was always available and very friendly.

we had a lovely warm welcome from kate, who also provided a list of recommendations for restaurants and shops. the villa was beautiful with everything you could need for a relaxing peaceful stay. the view was breathtaking. we will definitely be back but for longer next time.

We have just returned home from an absolutely wonderful 10 night stay at Villa Theo. Alex was such an attentive and caring host, always readily available if we needed anything. The accommodation was absolutely amazing, having everything we could have wished for and more. The most stunning views could be admired from every corner of this property. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and watching the abundance of wildlife in the evenings. Thank you for such an incredible stay!

The house is spacious and very welcoming. The location is great for arrival. As clearly written by the owner (very precise) it is located next to the fire station and immediately on the border with the airport lot. This can cause some noise but for us (two families each consisting of two adults and two children) it was not a problem. From the house we always moved by car so I don't know how to evaluate the actual possibility of moving by public transport (in the area there are some services but not in the immediate vicinity). For our needs it was perfect. It should be noted that it looks like a "lived-in" house, so it is equipped with all the appliances you have at home. The only missing appliance is the dishwasher, but we didn't miss it. I highly recommend it for the location (very close to the arrival hubs on the island), for the livable spaces (both indoors and outdoors) and for the precision, punctuality and kindness of those who manage it.
