Beachfront vacation rentals in Värmdö

Schönes Inselhaus in der Natur mit großer Terrasse, (warmer) Außendusche und Außenklo mit Wasserblick! Währen der schwedischen Sommerferien gibt es zahlreiche Fährverbindungen und auf der Haupt-Insel einige Restaurants, ab Mitte August immerhin noch den Coop. Das Strandhaus gehört leider nicht zur Vermietung, aber ein schöner großer Steg. Das Haus ist per Boot besser zu erreichen als über den Waldpfad.

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Vi tillbringade en helg i stugan och hade det fantastiskt trevligt. Stugan var ren, välutrustad och hade allt vi behövde för att känna oss hemma. När vi kom var sängarna bäddade, handdukar framlagda för alla och vi möttes av en fin välkomstgåva i form av hembakat bröd och fika, en omtänksam gest som verkligen uppskattades. Stugan ligger otroligt vackert, med magisk omgivning och en rofylld miljö. Det fanns många fina platser både inne och ute där man kunde slå sig ner och bara njuta. Kommunikation med värden fungerade utmärkt, och det märktes att det var viktigt för hen att vi skulle trivas. Vi kan varmt rekommendera ett besök, vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Nous avons excellent séjour dans la maison de Carl. L'emplacement dans la nature magnifique de l'Archipelago de Stockholm permet de nombreuses promenades, alternant sous bois accueillants, bords de lacs et de mer baltique. La maison est vraiment à 100 mètres de la mer qu'on aperçoit à travers les bouleaux qui bordent la propriété. L'été, on doit pouvoir faire du kayak ou du paddle en toute tranquillité et sillonner les canaux à l'abri du vent. Le petit port de Stavnas, point de départ vers les îles de l'extrême est de l'archipel (dont la fameuse et merveilleuse Sandham) est à peine à 10 mn en voiture. Il y a une grande épicerie ICA et une boulangerie à quelques mn de la maison. Le premier system bolaeget se trouve à Gustavberg, environ 25 km. Le restaurant du Stromma Krog, à une dizaine de km est parfait pour dîner ou prendre un pot au bord de l'eau. Enfin, la maison est parfaitement équipée pour cuisiner. Le barbecue à gaz est très efficace. Merci encore à Carl !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Katja lors de notre traversée des îles de Stockholm. Katja est une hôte idéale qui nous a été très réactive lors de nos échanges. Le logement est confortable et bien placé. Je recommande cette petite cabane au milieu de l'archipel de Stockholm

Mycket härligt ställe! Fin omgivning och mysigt hus - perfekt att spendera en vår-/sommarhelg i detta boende.

Wunderschöne Lage! Keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Naturreservat. Auch die Fähre nach Stockholm ist zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Generell ist der Nahverkehr in der Gegend sehr gut. Abends hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser. Mit etwas Glück und Geduld kann man den Biber im Naturreservat beobachten. Joakim war ein sehr netter und sympathischer Gastgeber! Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle die sowohl etwas Natur als auch Stockholm sehen wollen.

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Wir haben es sehr sauber übernommen und die Endreinigung separat beauftragt, was bei den Göße des Hauses unbedingt zu empfehlen ist. Der Kontakt zu Fredrika war ausschließlich online, immer sehr nett. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder, dafür passten die 5 Zimmer mit Schlafmöglichkeit prima. Zumindest die beiden gößeren Betten waren für uns etwas zu weich, aber das ist Gewohnheitsache. Komplette Ausstattung des Hauses, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Draußen ein netter kleiner Pool und ein Gasgrill. Zum gut besuchten Strand im Ort sind es zu Fuß nur 10 Minuten, ebenso zur Bushaltestelle. Von dort kommt man in 25 Minuten ins Zentrum von Stockholm. Ein Einkaufszentrum ist auch in der Nähe. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 4 (2 teens). Everything is as described in this large comfortable home. We didn’t have a car so the location is fantastic for an archipelago and city holiday. Highlights - the sun filled lounge area with the hot tub and the peaceful garden - less then 10 min walk to beach area with diving boards and an amazing bakery/cafe; hot food truck and sweet shop - One evening we used the ToGoodToGo app for the bakery and picked up an amazing surprise bag for less than €5 - 5 min walk to a huge mall area with multiple grocery shops and restaurants. - We walked into Gustavsberg along a beautiful forest walk which took about 40 mins - 20 mins by bus into Stockholm (433 or 434 bus). It’s easy to miss the stop on the way back so best to get off at the shopping centre or the bakery. - A very minor point if it’s important to you, no hairdryer so bring a travel one!

Tomas was responsive and proactive. He made sure that we were familiar with the property and addressed any needs we had. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware and eating utensils. The house was well decorated and provided a feeling of comfort. The home's design was fun and unique and the hot tub a perfect end for a busy day!

Fantastiskt boende med magisk utsikt över Mälaren! Huset är modernt, välutrustat och väldigt bekvämt. Perfekt för avkoppling med bastu och spabad. Värden var hjälpsam och kommunikationen smidig. Rekommenderas varmt!

Johan och hans fru var toppen som hyresvärdar, trevliga och omhändertagande. Huset var mycket fint och utsikten fantastisk. Luftiga ytor som gav en känsla av utrymme. Denna hyresvärd och detta hus rekommenderar vi starkt:)

All good, train station close to the house. Kayak included really a plus.

C'est un coin de paradis pour qui aime la nature. Le calme, la douceur des lieux, la vue tout y est reposant et propice à la contemplation. Nous avons passé un séjour ressourçant tel que nous le rêvions. On aimerait déjà y retourner! La maison est fonctionnelle et on s'y sent bien. il y a tut le confort. Le jacuzzi est un plus incroyable. Si vous aimez la tranquillité, c'est un endroit est pour vous.

The Sea Cottage was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The jetty for me was the stand out though- just sitting with a drink and watching the sun go down. We really enjoyed our stay in tranquil surroundings. Well worth a visit.

Sehr schönes Haus, tolle Umgebung, nette Besitzer, gute Kommunikation.

We had a lovely time at this place! The surrounding nature is amazing, I went swimming in that crystal clear water every day. We were a group of five and used only the upstairs area in the house for sleeping and the little guest house in the garden. This worked very well for us. The house has a great outdoor area, we spent most of our time outside, when we were home. Also there was a very nice hiking area nearby. Grocery stores and other shops were a 10-15 minute drive away. It was possible to park there and take the bus to Stockholm city center, which was very convenient. Magnus and Silvana gave us that very useful tip and also explained everything very well. During the week, they asked several times if everything was alright and were always very quick with their responses. They gave us a very warm welcome, we really appreciated that. Tack så mycket!

Vi hade en underbar vistelse i denna gulliga stuga i en riktig skärgårdsidyll. Köket hade allt man behövde och sängen va fräsch med förmodligen väldigt nya madrasser och täcken. Bastun va ett stort plus och det var jättetrevligt att vi fick låna båten för att ro omkring med. Gabriel var väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig.

Wir waren 4 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Die Lage ist für Ruhesuchende ideal. Dennoch sind mit dem Auto oder Bus Stockholm und einige Naturreservate gut erreichbar. Wir haben aber die gut ausgestattete Küche und den Grill benutzt, sodass wir über Restaurants keine Aussage treffen können. Aus unserer Sicht können wir einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂
