We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s place - incredible accessibility to Stockholm and all with beautiful natural surrounds and interesting hiking trails for miles. She was super responsive and kindly gave some local recommendations. For anyone who loves nature but is also keen to experience the city, this is a perfectly placed spot. We had the best time at Susanne's place, it was just magical! We were shocked when upon arrival as it was even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was clean, comfortable and tastefully designed. Susanne was so friendly and responded immediately to every question. I would definitely come back!

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Lotta and Miki welcomed us perfectly. The accommodation matches the photos, not very large but very functional, perfectly clean, in a quiet and warm environment. Our hosts were always available and gave good advice, in addition to being friendly. Access to the city center is quick and easy, we had a great time in Stockholms! Dream location magical little cabin that would still need some refreshments

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the amazing little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really rest and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the forest around there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you might need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Eriks cabin is modern and had all you needed like a fridge, wifi, stove top and oven. The view is the stealer of this small yet open floor plan that even has a three person table. The bathroom is equipped with a stand up rain shower. The deck is large and even though on Eriks house near by, has plenty of privacy. The sunrise and sunset views are gorgeous. The walk from the road to the cabin is about three mins downhill on a dirt road. It is definitely not a place with large bulky suitcases but if you are okay with getting what you need to the space, I say It is a nice brisk walk. I rented the sauna during the evenings and i have to say it is paradise. It is nicely designed with a glass door facing the sea. Everything is programmed by wifi so all you need to show up is your sauna attire! There is also a hiking area from the cabin you can walk for miles and get to high places with views of Stockholm! I definitely will be back.

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well arranged and perfectly located by the sea with stunning views. We loved the quiet of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Everything was clean and well thought out, the host is responsive and welcoming. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful little house with a hot tub and great views. There were a few things that could be improved, but if no one says that, the host won't know. So we just pointed out that you could move the bed. Then there would be more space etc... the hot tub is a pleasure, but there are other houses and the residents walk past the hot tub. I thought that was kind of weird. There were always people at the pier, which is shared with other accommodations. Several houses are probably rented and they all meet. That wasn't clear to us before. I would have liked to bathe without spectators. The view is a dream, the hosts are very nice. Nearest supermarket about 12 kilometers. All in all, great for a short getaway.

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

I spent two wonderful days in this little cottage. You can explore the surrounding nature and the area is very quiet and relaxing. If you have a car, it is very well connected to Arlanda Airport and you can easily go to Stockholm and Uppsala. Izabella was a fantastic host, always attentive to her guest! I recommend it!

We enjoyed the time in the cottage of Bonice and Johan very much. The house had everything necessary for our two-week stay. The accommodation is quiet and perfect as a starting point for exploring Stockholm. The subway is just minutes away and from there you can quickly get to the center at any time. Nice stay with super host!

We had a wonderful stay at their place! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our host Martin was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. The property is on a very idyllic lake with a private jetty. Simply perfect to relax, to be close to nature and to watch beautiful sunsets. In addition, SUPs and a rowing boat are available with which the lake can be explored. The place itself was very clean and there was nothing missing. We liked it incredibly well and would book the place again at any time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the tinyhouse and can recommend it to any other traveller. The train ride to Stockholm is very short and easy to handle.

My wife, my 2 children and I really enjoyed our stay at Nico's place. Nico was a great host and his recommendations were excellent. We had several beautiful walks and enjoyed the city of Stockholm. We even had time for swim in the pool. I would highly recommend and we hope to return some day soon.

This cottage in the Stockholm archipelago was an absolute godsend for me! It is located near the bus stop and is therefore very easy to reach by public transport. The location in the countryside is simply fantastic and you have many opportunities to do something in the nature or just sit on the terrace and enjoy the garden. The accommodation is small but incredibly well equipped (even a dishwasher) and very comfortable. In the bed I slept like on clouds for a month. Christina was very friendly, helpful and always easily accessible. If I come back to the area, I would rent the cottage again.

Beautiful location! Not 5 minutes walk to the nature reserve. The ferry to Stockholm is also a 10-15 minute walk. In general, public transport in the area is very good. In the evening you have a great view of the sunset over the water. With some luck and patience you can watch the beaver in the nature reserve. Joakim was a very nice and likeable host! Overall a highly recommended place for those who want to see both nature and Stockholm.

I would definitely recommend staying at Dan’s cosy house. The accommodation looks even better than on pictures, the neighbourhood is quiet and nice and there’s a direct bus to Stockholm city center. There’s nothing to complain about.

Lotta’s summer cottage is charming, clean, quiet and cosy, and very central in Dalarö. The check-in could not have been easier, and the accommodation is as described (although the bed was a little soft for us). Communication was easy via Airbnb, and it was nice to meet Lotta when she came to say hello. Autumn visitors should note that most of the town’s restaurants and tourist shops are closed from early September, or only open at weekends (although the supermarket is open).
