Vacation rentals in Varangerfjorden

This was our second time at Giskananjohka, and once again everything was perfect. Beautiful view, skiing, ice fishing and relaxing, who could ask for more. Kids loved collecting sea shells from the shore. House was clean, warm and cosy. Sissel was very generous and friendly host, always willing to help. We can't wait to be back at Giskananjohka again next year.

This is a great cabin with a fireplace, indoor sauna, electricity, and everything you need to feel at home. It's a great place to get away. And in a remote beautiful area.

Everything was wonderful. The "Big Boss" was very helpful. He recommended good programmes and helped me to organise them. I can only recommend.

Such a picturesque spot, the photos don’t do it justice. Cabin was comfortable and warm and sauna and hot tub were welcome. Anne-Marie was super helpful and arranged winter clothes, snowshoes, huskies and snowmobiles for us. We also hired a car from north 70, who own this place- really easy to collect at ivalo airport and drop off there again when we’re finished with it. The car is pretty old but works well and the 4x4 is good on the ice and snow. The supermarket in nuorguam is big and had everything we needed whilst we were there.

It is great place to stay. Over looking the sea very close to Vadsø town. 10 minutes drive. Lance is a friendly guy who provides lots of information.

As our plane from Oslo landed late at night, when it was already dark, we spent one night at Monica's place before continuing our journey. It was a very good idea because the accommodation is very pleasant, comfortable and well-equipped. We almost felt at home. Communication with Monica was efficient and prompt. Although we have not personally met Monica, we can say that she is a very friendly and accommodating person. She did me a huge favor with my forgotten toiletry bag and I'm very grateful to her. It is really a property that I recommend for a one-night stop, but also a longer stay to discover the beautiful region of Kirkenes. Thank you for everything Monica we will be happy to come back 😃

We had a wonderful memory in Mette’s cabin. I will not forget this trip. Cabin was amazing and it was located in very quite place. I truly recommend to anyone who wish to have a valuable time in personal, comfortable place with a clean, organized cabin. Oh, having a chance to see the northern light was an extra experience at Mette’s cabin!!!! Thank you Mette.

This is a great place. Clean and tidy, with a parking spot, close to the sea. It was perfect for three birdwatchers going around the area of Varanger. Communication with host was nice and effective.

Incredibly nice hosts. The place was sparkling clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. Beautiful scenery, even with ice, wind and snow.
