We had a longer stay of 7 nights with Bottolf and Siw during our Norway trip – and it was just great! The place was mainly used for relaxation, for which the Jacuzzi was absolutely perfect. The house was very well equipped, clean and cozy – you immediately felt comfortable. We would particularly like to emphasize the warm hospitality: Bottolf regularly gave us great excursion tips and always inquired whether we were doing well and whether we needed anything else. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had six wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the landscape is breathtaking in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. Communication with our host was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. It is also an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Geiranger and, above all, the bird island of Runde. Shopping facilities are available, and charging stations for electric cars are nearby. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts.

We had a great stay in Hanne's cabin, and everyone, with an age range from 4 months to 68, had a great time. The cabin is peacefully located, but with short distance to the city center. The jacuzzi was popular, the kitchen well equipped and otherwise nothing to postpone. Recommended!

The place is as described and more. The cabin is well equipped, clean and cosy. Location is fantastic for a weekend getaway - surrounded by the woods with a view to the river right outside the window. The rooms and the bathroom have a floor heating, so the place is nice and warm; the kitchen has plenty of appliances, cutlery and dishes. The jacuzzi is a perfect addition to the alreday amazing cabin. Bottolf was nice and friendly - took his time to greet us, show us around and explain the house rules. Will definitely come back again.

Cozy place, very clean. Beautiful mountain view(s). Our kids were very happy to have the various animals around them every day. We are looking forward to another visit!

This cabin is a gem! The city is screened, and the view is amazing. It is clear that there is a lot of good work done in renovation and maintenance, and the work that has been put down and the many great details in the cabin was to lift the stay. Feel free to come again!

We stayed 8 days in Tore and Ann Turids Boathouse with our dog Smilla and our 13 months old daughter. Ann Turid was very kind and always quick in answering our questions. The house is well equipped and it is a magnificent scenery from the house. The weather was a little bit rough sometimes thats why we could not use a boat. Ann Turid was so kind to organize a nice boat trip with a very experienced and nice local fisher called Rune. Rune visited us after the boat trip on the boardwalk to give us tipps for fishing. We loved the area and the peacefulness of this lovely spot. We took a walk up to Kronknappen mountain on a good day. We love to come again.

Staying at this cabin was like stepping into a fairy tale! Nestled deep in the woods and right next to a stunning fjord, the location is absolutely magical. The cabin itself is cozy and full of charm, with all the comforts you could need while still feeling like a true retreat into nature. Waking up to the serene surroundings and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to escape into a beautiful, storybook setting!

The home is absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings are incomparable. The cottage is secluded from others but only a few kilometers from a small shop where everything you need is located. It has everything you could need. A perfect paradise to get close to nature. Hiking trails and activities are plentiful for those who like it. For those who just want to take it easy, it's just as perfect. 10/10. Roger always responded super fast and extremely generous. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend renting the cabin!

I had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The views were out of this world, magical! Many hiking trails starting right outside the door. The cabin itself is so cute and comes with a gas stove, a fireplace, a radio, lights on batteries. There's a water tank which you can fill up right outside, and the toilet is a 200m walk away but it's definitely clean for an outhouse! Make sure to check if your shoes are waterproof, my hiking boots apparently were not and that makes the walk to the toilet a lot less pleasant😅 Overall 10/10 stay in this beautiful landscape!! Make sure to bring your own map or download the map from norgeskart, and do your research on the hikes beforehand (e.g. Middagshornet is absolutely gorgeous but not for the inexperienced hiker)

We have stayed here now for 3 weeks and it is always a delight to come back to Sandholmen Panorama. Highly recommend this place, if you are traveling to the city country! Must be experienced! 🙂

We had a wonderful week at this cabin and Norway! Very fresh accommodation with all the comforts. Everything worked smoothly and there was a lot to do around. for example we went to Nerland Island and hiked. The boat and everything around the harbor also worked very smoothly. Recommend this listing to anyone who wants a nice vacation in the countryside for fantastic outdoor activities in Norway👌🇧🇻.

We (with two boys 13, 16) had a wonderful week. Beaches of Refvik or Hoddevik (white beaches, blue water :) in about 1 h 20), Sunnmørsalpen (1.5 h) or just the mountain lakes in the immediate vicinity with magnificent views over the coastal mountains (in 10 min you are in the fjell above the house or 30 min to the brandal) - a highlight is possible every day. The beach right by the house is fine sand and the water as clear as it can be. The boat is robust and works perfectly. We are inexperienced anglers, had great fish (Pollack). But driving around by boat alone is wonderful. The house (very clean, loving details) has everything you need, it is a small, loving pearl. The upper floor is a pearl especially for children + teenagers - with TV, private couch and two small SZ with a bed. Our landlord said "it's not a luxury here" - we felt it different! Those who appreciate the important things have luxury there.

We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay at Sylve. The huts offered great privacy and the view of the fjord was simply enchanting. We are particularly grateful to Jenny for allowing us to use the sauna by the fjord. The hut was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the kitchen was immaculate. We especially appreciated the fact that the hut is dog-friendly, although it is important to ensure that any mess is cleaned up after your pet. We look forward to returning in the future. Johanna is an excellent host. After our arrival, we were briefly welcomed in person with homemade "Sveler" (Norwegian pancakes) and great tips for things to do. The place was perfect for our little family and is very lovingly decorated and you immediately feel comfortable. Nearby you can go hiking (highlighting the very lovingly designed fairy tale forest in Gursken). Right outside the front door you can fish well from the shore (especially pollack and mackerel). In bad weather, for example, you can go to the great aquarium in Alesund or simply make delicious waffles with the waffle iron and make yourself comfortable. We would love to come back any time.

Very peaceful surroundings and fantastic home!

We had a great stay at Hamish cabin. Everything was as described and he was very responsive on all the messages I send. Great host and it was a delight to come into the cabin with lights, heater and radio on with Jazz music. We visited some nice places in the surroundings of the cabin and we had a great final evening with BBQ on the terrace, with sunny weather. Even had a pool tournament with the family which was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this cabin to stay at if you want to visit the western part of Norway with it's fjords and nice roads. Thanks again Hamish and we will definitely come back.
