From Hakallestranda you can go on day trips to the surf paradise Hoddevika, Loen Skylift, Geiranger, Runde and Ålesund. There are fjords, beaches and mountains in the immediate vicinity and many hiking opportunities in the area.

The life in the cabin is simple without running water and with an outdoor toilet, but you can start your cabin experience after you will take a refreshing shower in the main house, where you will also park your car (or bike). 5min walk upwards from the parking lot.
