Cabin vacation rentals in Vanderpool

Dates: May 24th-June 9th Views/Environment: Spectacular views! Secluded. Peaceful. Stargazing while in the hot tub. Nature walk/hiking/outdoors. Picture perfect! Cabin: Spacious! Great layout. Comfy bed! Great amenities and well stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, and grill stuff. Bathrooms are great and complete with bath towels and hot tub towels. Wifi available. Host: Spencer is a great host! I originally rented the cabin for 4 days but then i kept extending it and Spencer was easy to work with! I ended up staying from May 24th-June 9th. Location: The cabin was my home base. From there, we went to places like New Braunfels, Boerne, Kerrville, Frio River, Bandera, and other great places nearby. The bars in Bandera are awesome!!! We met a lot of people and I enjoyed the place so much. Check-in/Check-out: Super easy! No hassle. I highly recommend this place, 10/10! Looking forward to my next visit to Texas!

Overall the stay was great! We were disappointed that the bulk of the animals were on the neighbors property. We thought that the animals would be a lot closer. We could barely see them. The cabin is really close to other properties, I thought from the pics that it was secluded. The hot tub was great! The beds were comfortable! The house was clean!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy sitting on the porch enjoying nature, yet having Fredericksburg 15 minutes away. Hot tub right outside the door. Beautiful rustic looking cabin with all the modern conveniences. Extra nice touch with a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived.

Enjoyed seeing the deer, Cardinals and squirrels during our stay. Relaxed in the hot tub, underneath the beautiful oak trees. House has all the amenities and kitchen items necessary for a home cooked meal. Went shopping at the local grocery store, also nearby. Location is approximately 2 miles from town. Close to several wineries and restaurants. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay! Everything was just as stated in the description..maybe better! The pool area is so nice, and the hot tub was perfect. We did encounter a few critters but I would say that's expected given the surroundings. Definitely make sure you wear sandals around the pool area .I almost stepped on a scorpion! We loved EVERYTHING about this place and would definitely come back and stay again.

We loved Catalina’s place! It is a guest cabin on a large ranch 10 mins from downtown Fredericksburg. It was truly beautiful and well kept! We will be back!!

The cabin is beautiful and set in a great location. It’s very clean and well supplied. Very detailed instructions were available. If I had a complaint it would be the lock box for the key, it took about 15 minutes to get it open and when we left we were unable to lock it at all. Otherwise a perfect getaway.

We were looking for a little and found this place. From start to finish, Amy was responsive and very attentive to our questions. When we arrived, the”bunkhouse” was more roomy than we expected. Beautiful inside, beautiful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. We had a great time and would stay there again. Thank you Amy for the awesome stay.

This little cabin is great! It's even cuter than the pictures. I was worried it might feel a bit dark with all the wood trim but there is lots of natural light. All the windows have blinds that are easy to open and also close when privacy is needed. Very quiet location but close to lots of local activities. Really appreciated how clean it was with everything I needed for a great stay.

This is our 4th time staying here I believe. Always very clean and cozy, great hosts! Will be back!

Very responsive with any questions or concerns. Nice, clean and comfy home with a beautiful surrounding. We were attended by a handful of deers from afar. Quiet, peaceful & beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay. We felt like we were able to unplug and enjoy the lakes and hiking trails. The home itself was clean and comfortable. We had a great time!

last minute get away, for peace and some pool time. it was excalty what we were looking for. Cathy was great and helpful.

My son, dog and I had the BEST time at the Buchanan cabins!!! The location can’t be beat, and the grounds were beautiful! We had private access to the river steps below from the cabin and enjoyed every minute of it! Would 100% recommend these cabins if you want an excellent Frio experience!

This cabin was very comfy for me and my 3 friends! It was perfect for our 4 day long trip to the frio river. It was just spacey enough. The Bbq pit was nice for smores! Would definitely stay again. The host was also flexible with check-out time. Great stay !

The cabin was beautiful one of the best vacations so far my family has took. Was so peaceful just to sit on the porch to star gaze or early in the morning with a cup of coffee and looking out at the beautiful view of the hills. Just the right amount away from the water not to far but a nice 5 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. They have floats kayaks everything you need for a good day at the river. My family will be back again. Thanks for letting us stay at your cabin.

The place was very nice. It was very quiet. You can hear so many different kinds of birds singing. It was great to sit at the porche to enjoy the nice weather, to read peacefully and talking with my husband. The house inside is very nice and clean. We had a great time there. This is the cutest little cabin! We loved the Western decor! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It’s only a few minutes away from Main Street and also from Mansfield Park, where we watched the Memorial Day rodeo. I highly recommend this cabin!

Such a beautiful campground with amazing access to the river. Definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing weekend away with your partner, or your whole family!

We loved our stay at Loma Linda! Beautiful home and peaceful back yard. Would recommend this place for anyone that wants a quiet stay in the country.
