Happy Our River House

We are located about a mile south out of Utopia off of FM 187. Close to town yet a secluded feeling surrounds the property. Bird watching and wildlife viewing right off the back deck. We are located within a 20 minute drive to Lost Maples State Park or Garner State Park. We have a walking trail down to the riverside that you can use as a picnic sight. Right now the Sabinal river site we have is not swimmable due to the drought.

Just 3.5 miles south of Lost Maples State Natural Area, big tooth maples and live oaks surround the Orchard Inn, providing shade and privacy, even though our home is nearby. Across the road, our “beach” offers privacy and a natural view of the Sabinal River. Progressive owners, our mantra is "make yourselves at home!" This quaint little cowboy cabin is perfect for two people. It was originally our son's place but he is married with two children, so bigger they must build. We are happy to offer this little piece of our heaven for you to enjoy, but please leave your pets at home. No pets allowed. Thank you for respecting our short and simple house rules.
