House vacation rentals in Valongo

The family had a fantastic week at a great location. Joao was a great host and super helpful.

This was a lovely Airbnb for us with 5 adults and a baby. Nick was so friendly and gave great local recommendations. The neighbourhood is a short metro into the city centre, but had nice local cafes and restaurants and was very close to groceries.

We were a group of six, and the location offered coziness, luxury and privacy. The contact with Hugo went perfectly, both upon arrival and departure. We enjoyed it, and can highly recommend this blissful villa. Regards, Michael & Dinja

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

We had a lovely stay at Joshua's house. The house is functional. We enjoyed the outdoors and the kids were happy to have animals in the yard. Joshua's parents, whom we meet every day, were very nice and discreet. A big thank you for our stay, as well as for the little pony ride!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was great. We had an amazing stay at the home of Eulalia! We were two couples with three dogs, unfortunately considered potentially dangerous breeds but would not harm a fly. While many other houses cared, Eulália was extremely welcoming and did not raise any problems. Of course, each owner should know how to educate and control their dog's behavior, and we had a super quiet stay. The place is impeccable, calm and peaceful, without any setbacks. All very comfortable, and both Eulália and her husband were always willing to help. I highly recommend it to those who want to rest away from the city, and enjoy a few days in the middle of nowhere. Only peace and the noise of nature ☺️

Me, my husband and our kitty feel very welcome in the house. Rosa was very polite and friendly. The house is very spacious, ventilated and sunshine. There is a wooded area in the back, great for those who like nature. The weekly cleaning is excellent.

Manuel & Carla were excellent hosts who waited for us when we arrived after midnight. They made us most welcome and even provided milk and some snacks on arrival as the shops were all closed. In the morning we were presented with fruit from their garden. The house was as described and we felt at home. We had a most enjoyable stay. The parking was protected with a secure gate. We highly recommend this property and Manuel & Carla.

Very nice accommodation, spacious and clean, as described. Angelina was very responsive and available. Easy to park and close to Porto, I recommend it!

Very beautiful, unique and peaceful studio. We felt right at home and had a great night sleep.

Rosa was exceptional throughout the stay. We had a couple of unexpected events (nothing serious) handled immediately without problems. Unfortunately, we were super unlucky to find terrible weather and we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful garden. We certainly recommend this accommodation especially in the summer when you can enjoy everything 100%. We add that having rained almost all the time and being very cold outside, it was a good thing that the split was also for heating and dehumidifying quickly. Rosa and her husband were special! For Easter they offered us excellent Port, red and white wine and magnificent cakes. The house was super clean!

Villa is very modern and decorated with very good taste. Grace was very helpful with communication before our visit and gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. Everything was perfect - nothing to improve. Thank you !
