House vacation rentals in Valongo

The family had a fantastic week at a great location. Joao was a great host and super helpful.

This was a lovely Airbnb for us with 5 adults and a baby. Nick was so friendly and gave great local recommendations. The neighbourhood is a short metro into the city centre, but had nice local cafes and restaurants and was very close to groceries.

We waren met een groep van zes personen, en de locatie bood gezelligheid, luxe en privacy. Het contact met Hugo liep perfect, zowel bij aankomst als vertrek. We hebben heerlijk genoten, en kunnen deze zalige villa van harte aanbevelen. Groetjes, Michael & Dinja

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Josué. La maison est fonctionnelle. Nous avons bien profité de l'extérieur et les enfants étaient heureux d'avoir des animaux dans le jardin. Les parents de Josué, que nous croisions tous les jours, étaient très sympas et discrets. Un grand merci pour notre séjour, ainsi que pour la petite balade en poney !

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was great. The host was incredibly friendly, accommodating in making check-in and check-out super easy. we definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Thanks for being kind Rafael!

Tivemos uma estadia incrível na casa da Eulália! Fomos dois casais com três cães, infelizmente considerados raças potencialmente perigosas, mas que não fariam mal a uma mosca. Enquanto muitas outras casas se importaram, a Eulália foi extremamente acolhedora e não levantou qualquer problema. Claro, cada dono deve saber como educar e controlar o comportamento do seu cão, e tivemos uma estadia super tranquila. O espaço é impecável, calmo e pacífico, sem nenhum contratempo. Tudo muito confortável, e tanto a Eulália quanto o marido estavam sempre dispostos a ajudar. Recomendo muito para quem quer descansar longe da cidade, e aproveitar uns dias no meio do nada. Só, só paz e o barulho da natureza ☺️

Foi uma excelente experiência! Nos sentimos em casa, gostaríamos de ter ficado ainda mais tempo. Casa limpa, organizada, móveis novos, apartamento muito completo. Anfitriã receptiva e simpática. Vale muito a pena, obrigada pela hospedagem ;) Recomendamos 100%

Manuel & Carla were excellent hosts who waited for us when we arrived after midnight. They made us most welcome and even provided milk and some snacks on arrival as the shops were all closed. In the morning we were presented with fruit from their garden. The house was as described and we felt at home. We had a most enjoyable stay. The parking was protected with a secure gate. We highly recommend this property and Manuel & Carla.

Rosa è stata eccezionale durante tutto il soggiorno. Abbiamo avuto un paio di imprevisti (nulla di grave) gestiti subito senza problemi. Purtroppo siamo stati super sfortunati a trovare un tempo terribile e non abbiamo potuto beneficiare del bellissimo giardino. Consigliamo certamente questo alloggio soprattutto nella bella stagione in cui si può godere di tutto al 100%. Aggiungiamo che avendo piovuto quasi tutto il tempo ed essendo molto freddo fuori, è stato un bene che gli split fossero anche per riscaldare e deumidificare velocemente. Rosa e suo marito sono stati speciali! Per Pasqua ci hanno offerto dell’ottimo Porto, vino rosso e bianco e delle magnifiche torte. La casa poi era pulitissima!

Nuestra estancia fue excepcional para dos familias con niños. Las 3 habitaciones ofrecieron comodidad y espacio para todos. La casa destacaba por su equipación de primera: electrodomésticos modernos y utensilios de cocina completos, facilitando nuestras comidas. Las habitaciones y baños eran amplios y confortables, ideales para el descanso. La disponibilidad de TV con cable y la opción de conectar nuestros dispositivos fue un plus para el entretenimiento. Los anfitriones fueron inmejorables, siempre atentos y resolviendo nuestras dudas con rapidez. La casa se sintió como un hogar lejos de casa, permitiéndonos disfrutar de agradables cenas y un sueño reparador en sus espaciosas habitaciones. ¡Una experiencia muy recomendable para familias!. Sin duda valoraremos esta casa como una optción favorita para futuros viajes.
