Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

This is a lakefront cabin at Elk Point Lodge- a peaceful and secluded resort tucked in the pines on the eastern shore of Vallecito Reservoir - the quiet side. There is convenient free lake access from this cabin. Cabin 2, the Conifer Cabin, takes its name from the large ponderosa pine tree the spacious new deck is built around. The deck offers partial shade and is the perfect place to read, grill, or watch the sunset.
