Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Patrizia's accommodation was really perfect, it is bigger than it looks in the photos and it is extremely well equipped. You'll find everything you need there. Patrizia lives in the house next door and was very welcoming to us. The location is peaceful and the little sound of the river water was very pleasant, we would have liked to have stayed longer if we could!

The house is in a great location with lots of restaurants, bakeries, and the town's parks and villas are beautiful and can be explored slowly. The room is spacious, retains the original style, and the garden and the sacred mountain in the distance can be seen from the terrace. I like the scenery and atmosphere here.The landlord's dog is also very cute.

A great host, a beautiful rustico in a wonderful location. We were in transit with two children, we all would have liked to have stayed longer. Florent responded quickly to all requests, e.g. for a possibly earlier check-in. The amenities are generous and the furnishings cozy. In addition, it is very quiet and you can relax superbly. We will be happy to come back!

First of all: this was the most beautiful Airbnb I've ever been to. The small apartment is located in a beautifully renovated old house and is superbly equipped. Bathroom and kitchen are super modern and equipped with everything you need. There's even a dishwasher and a rain shower. Everything is very tastefully furnished. Claudia is a super nice hostess and saved us with an emergency meal on the evening of arrival. Only the somewhat adventurous narrow path that leads 3 kilometers up to the accommodation is a tiny minus point. But the view from above reconciles you with it.
