Explore Valencia from a Central Apartment

My home is located on the 3rd floor of a fully restored historical building -in an area where most buildings are mainly over 100 years old-, which for your convenience and comfort, has an elevator. There are no other neighbours on the same floor. It features a spacious living room with dining and kitchen area with two large street-facing balconies, one bedroom with another small balcony, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. Two street facing balconies and one window fill the living room and kitchen area with plenty of natural daylight. The comfortable sofa is the ideal place to lounge after a long day out sightseeing. A gracious table in the living room seats 4. In the fully equipped kitchen area you’ll find everything you might need to prepare a quick meal: Nespresso coffee machine, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, vitroceramic hob, fridge/freezer, and of course enough kitchenware and tableware. I also provide some basic kitchen condiments such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, pepper and some others, and detergent for washing crockery and doing laundry, to avoid you the hassle and cost of this basic shopping. In the bedroom there is a comfy double bed (135x190) to ensure a good night's rest, and a closet with enough room for your clothes. The bathroom, adjacent to the bedroom, features a bathtub with shower and a washing machine. The boiler is of 50 litres so if you have a long shower, hot waters runs and you have to wait 10min to have again hot water. I provide complimentary bath amenities such as hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Clean, fresh bed linen and towels are also provided. The WiFi high-Speed Internet connection will make it possible for you to stay connected or get some work done, should you need to. The apartment has also an integrated air conditioning / heating system, to ensure the maximum comfort. If you need a baby cot for your baby, just ask! For a small supplement I might arrange one for you! The cleaning fee refers to the cleaning of the apartment after departure. No cleaning service is offered during the stay. Please ask if you are missing something and I will be delighted to assist with whatever I can. You will have access to the entire home. I’ll try my best to be there, but sometimes it is just not possible due to my job. In these cases, a family friend will welcome you upon arrival and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Once you complete the reservation, I will also send you a document with some information regarding the apartment, personal insider tips on what to do and visit, and some local restaurant and bars recommendations, to help you make the best out of your stay in Valencia. Also, you will be provided with a map of Valencia upon arrival and will remain reachable by phone or Airbnb e-mail 24/7 during your stay, should you need any help or advice! The home is located in the “El Pilar” neighborhood, a charming and historic area in the Old Town of Valencia. From here, walk to emblematic places like the Town Hall square, Valencia Cathedral, and a selection of independent restaurants and shops. Mercado Central / Valencia Central Market – 250 m. / 3 min. De techos altos y ventanas amplias que permite ser un piso de mucha luz, se compone de un espacioso salón comedor y cocina integrada, completamente diáfano. En el salón comedor encontrarán la televisión con Netflix y WIFI, ideal para desconectar después de un día largo. La cocina está completamente equipada (vitroceramica, nevera, microondas, lavadora), si prefieres comer en casa. Cuenta con todos los utensillos de cocina necesarios, además de tostadora, cafetera de capsulas, juguera, y hervidor de agua. Un amplio dormitorio con una cama matrimonial (135cmx190cm) y su gran baño con ducha y con todo lo indispensable, como juego de toallas, secador de pelo, shampoo y gel de baño. Disponible sin coste adicional una cuna de viaje previa solicitud. El edificio no cuenta con áreas comunes. Marissa’s apartment was cute, cosy with some very cool touches. We went at quite short notice but despite everything worked out for us. The place is very well equipped which was great for us as we were staying for just over a week and like to eat in and please ourselves without feeling the need to go out to eat but it is so centrally located there are many options including being a stones throw from the central market. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable! There isn’t a smart tv in case people are used to being able to stream Netflix etc so we used our own IPad. The very small shower was perhaps the only thing that didn’t quite live up to the rest of the apartment but it was powerful and hot.

Schöne Wohnung nahe der Innenstadt von Valencia. In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß mitten in der Altstadt. Vor Ort gibt es alles, was man zum Leben braucht. Die nächste U-Bahnstation ist gut 5 Minuten entfernt. Für die Lage war die Wohnung überraschend ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Das Viertel war an Ostern nicht sehr touristisch, was wir angenehm fanden. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, was man braucht, auch um sich selbst zu versorgen. Die Wohnung hat eine schöne Aufteilung und das Schlafzimmer auf der Empore ist gemütlich und bietet viel Platz. Das Zimmer mit dem Einzelbett ist klein, hat kein Außenfenster und ist deshalb hauptsächlich für Kinder geeignet. Der Balkon ist groß und überall stehen Pflanzen. Neben einer Sitzgruppe und einem kleinen Tisch mit zwei Stühlen ist immer noch reichlich Platz. Die Vermieter sind super nett und versuchen alles, damit man sich wohlfühlen kann. Die Anfragen wurden schnell beantwortet und alle Absprachen war verbindlich.

Estuvimos en casa de Raquel para disfrutar de unos días por Valencia en familia. Nos alojamos 4 familias y l distribución de las habitaciones dobles fue ideal para nosotros. La casa cuenta con dos baños, una muy amplio y el otro más pequeño pero con organización nos apañamos muy bien los 9 que íbamos. La zona de cocina/comedor es muy amplia para compartir en familia. En la cocina encontramos todo lo necesario. Gracias por compartir tu casa con nosotros. 😊

Just a fabulous stay for us, a family of 5. Loads of space, great pool, great big outdoor terrace and great paella from Manolo and Sue and we were very happy to relax in the calm surroundings. There is a fab bakery, a couple of friendly bars which serve tasty food and a basic supermarket all within walking distance. Great places to eat and supermarkets further out within a 10 minute drive. Olocau, Bétera and La Pobla vallbona. Overall we loved the space and peace and Duna the dog. Sue and Manolo were great hosts, easygoing and helpful. The house has loads of room, loads of bathrooms, big kitchen with everything you need, big TV with fire stick. Wi-Fi. About a 30 minute drive north of Valencià or park and ride and get a metro from Godella. We loved it, even the cicadas just became part of the day. Looking forward to returning again!

Lovely little apartment, very close to the beach and many other restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean, there is a nice little terrace to sit on in a communal area. Olga was perfectly helpful throughout our trip, she was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions! Would definitely go back and would recommend to stay!

Sonia a été une excellente communicante. le logement était très propre, il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait, le +++ a été le le jacuzzi. La plage (Malva Rosa) était à 2 mn à pied pour faire de longues et belles promenades. Le centre de Valencia à 10-15mn en taxi pour un trajet à 12 euros. Bref tout était bien. Merci Sonia !

The beach is seconds away and surprisingly empty and calm in August 2024. Apartment is spacious, the light is cosy (indirect light sources) and decoration is tasteful. Parking was always available within 50 meters during our stay. Be aware that there were motorcycles driving outside the apartment around 7-9am so you might want to bring earplugs (no excessive noise, just one or two bikes but I still woke up from that). I would absolutely recommend this place! It was a very good experience all in all.

Je n'ai jamais eu meilleur hôte que Pere sur Airbnb. Très serviable, quelqu'un de bon, qui semble cultivé et très instruit, une personne qui mérite d'être connu. Sauf la barrière de la langue, je pense qu'on aurait eu de longues et intéressantes discussions. La villa est magnifique avec une piscine parfaite. Pere est très modeste sur la description, vous serez surpris. Literie au top.

Francesc nos recibió en persona en el parking y a continuación nos acompañó hasta el apartamento. Resaltamos su calidez, su preocupación por todos los detalles y su excelente predisposición para atender cualquier inquietud. El apartamento, súper cómodo, excelentemente ubicado y equipado, con el parking junto al edificio. Resumiendo, todo perfecto! Nos sentimos como en casa. Una perlita: la heladera, repleta de bebidas de todo tipo, yogures, etc., además sobre la mesada una fuente repleta de distintas frutas. Un genio! Con seguridad volveremos!!!
