Vacation rentals in Valecchie

Ottimo appartamento attrezzatissimo e moderno pulito e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi ma per chi ha auto deve parcheggiare ad oltre 1 km a meno di usare parcheggi a pagamento oppure accedere a Ztl in orari specifici. La comunicazione con il proprietario e' stata un po' carente sulle informazioni di accesso con l'auto. Abbiamo cercato e trovato parcheggio gratuito in autonomia. Per il resto ottimo. Trovo inadeguato l'averci richiesto di mettere il massimo voto per non essere penalizzati nei punteggi.

Davide's place has two rooms, and we stayed in the upper room. One of the coolest features of this room is the window with an unblocked view of the valley looking west and north. We absolutely loved the view and spent time just sitting on the floor, appreciating the scenery. Davide's house is clean and equipped with all the necessary utensils. The location is very convenient, being close to the bus stop, making it easy to reach. It's also quiet since it doesn't face the main road. (p/s : if your are using bus : you can buy bus ticket at the kiosk near bus stop). You can easily find the place using Google Maps. However, note that since Davide's place is not facing the main road, some paths require climbing steps. Davide also provided us with a map of Assisi, explaining the key locations, and kindly shared the locations of grocery stores, which came in handy as we needed to buy some eggs, and fruits, and drinks.

The place has a beautiful view of the sunset, and was very close to St Clare's Basilica as well as other catholic churches that Assisi is known for. The apartment was spacious, with helpful free-of-charge amenities and managed to cook dinner for ourselves as a cheaper option. Very reasonably priced, and the host even had a booklet to orientate first time travellors to Assisi! :)

Livia’s place was a great match for my goal to visit Assisi for a pilgrimage trip. The attic apartment is situated in the center, close to Basilica of Saint Francis and the Sacred Convent and other pilgrimage locations. The apartment is clean and has everything needed. This place is beautifully situated at the top of Assisi. It's nice to stroll down hill to get to everything and see the views - but then you have to walk back up. It is a pleasant walk, everything is within 10 minutes. The place is charming and beautifully decorated. It is the downstairs so that is great because it is cool, but it is dark. We weren't home in the day so that was fine and it was great for sleeping. The bathroom is large and pretty with a glorious waterfall shower. The amenities are high quality. She is very kind.

„Pace e bene!“ A most extraordinary BnB experience - no crowds, only Peace and Good Things! Hopes and wishes to make it an unforgettable vacation were fulfilled: simple, non-pretentious beauty of the inside and breathtaking outside surroundings in the serene vicinity of San Damiano, the charm of Umbrian country furniture, the design of highest form and function in bedroom and bathroom, the comfort of the bedding (I didn‘t have to use my own down feather travel pillow), at breakfast ample choices of fresh fruit/juices and cereals, delicious Italian cold cuts, my preference was an excellent poached egg cooked to perfection for me, and the scrumptious home-baked cakes! I wasn’t just a guest, I became part of this wonderful family-run business. Hugs were in place at the end with my plan to come back in 2027 for the month of June! My very special gratitude for sharing laughter with Melissa, Sara and the queen, for truly nurturing my body (how many steps to town twice/day) and soul.

L'appartamento ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. La moglie dell'Host, molto ospitale ed amichevole, ci ha accolto in modo fantastico. Ci ha fatto trovare degli ottimi biscotti e ciambellone fatto da lei. Assolutamente da consigliare

My spacious room reminded me of my art school days when stays were affordable, simple and personal. I so appreciate that. Rare these days. The recommendation for very local restuarant was excellent too Very walkable to most of the sites snd shops. Will return xo
