It has 1 en-suite and 3 alcoves: - suite with queen-size bed (1.50×2.00 m) and crib on request. - Alcove 1 (typical small village room) with a 1.20 x 1.90 bed. - Alcove 2 with a 1.20x1.90 bed. - Alcove 3 with a 0.90x1.90 bed.

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

The “Casa do Feitor” is a part of an old house in Quinta do Vilar, located in the Douro Valley. You'll be surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. There are farm animals and a mediterranean forest with oak, cork oak and arbutus trees. This is an eco-system which we look after with the utter most love and respect. It's our mission to honour, regenerate and preserve this system by respecting its identity including all the elements which take part in it.

Casa do Povo is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The gorgeously designed house is located in a generations old family property and derives from the reconstruction of an ancient haystack made of stone where rabbits were once bred - hence its name (“Casa dos Coelhos” stands for “House of the Rabbits” in Portuguese).
