One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Gabriela’s place was great and she was a brilliant host. Well located, quiet and actually felt bigger than the photos suggested. The small touches of the water, wine and snacks on arrival were a really nice touch. Gabriela was super responsive and helpful, and even gave recommendations for our first time in Rome. The Monti area is great, less touristy and a just good vibes! Thanks again and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the place.

What an amazing stay. The split level and multiple sofa bed options made it ideal for keeping kids separate. Additionally, the balcony setting provided the top atmosphere we have ever experienced in an Air bnb. St. Peter’s basilica in the background, the jovial night sounds from the square below, all made for amazing evenings in Rome. Centrally located and an easy walk to all the major sites, we were able to walk everywhere. The square adjacent to the building was perfect for every need from a lunch bite to a midnight gelato. Finally, Stefano was always responsive and extremely helpful to all of our needs. We can’t wait to stay there again.

This is such a beautiful area! We had a long weekend out of the city and it was perfect. The views are stunning, and the place comes equipped with everything you might need. Elena was responsive and helpful. A hidden gem!
