We really enjoyed our stay. Ideally situated in the countryside very close to Belluno. The caban is perfect if you have a dog. We made day trips to Marmolada, Cinque Torri, Tre chimi di Lavaredo, Strado del Prosecco. After our hikes we enjoyed drinking Prosecco in the cold Norwegian tub. Fulcio, our host, was very friendly and hospitable. He made lots of recommendations for visits, restaurants and hikes. We can’t thank him enough.

A week of total relaxation, a little slice of paradise, tranquility and wonderful views. Highly recommended!

We just got back from 7 days here and it was great. The house was exactly as described, yes mostly original from 1956! (new kitchen appliances and bathroom!) but everything was in excellent condition and functional, quite comfortable for a family of 4 and dog. We did very much appricieate the detail and atmosphere of the place, all very cool. The living/dining space was perfect for hanging out and the deck provided great views of the surrounding mountains. A small perk that isn't evident from the posting is that despite it being in a neighborhood (the '56 Olympic Village) this house sits more or less "alone" on the corner so you don't have any direct neighbors which makes it feel a little more secluded in the woods. The location is a short car ride (<10 min) from San Vito di Cadore which is a great little mountain town with good restaurants and cafes. We truly had a wonderful time here. Thanks Duccio!

An absolutely fantastic stay in the mountains! The alpine hut in the Lesachtal exceeded all our expectations – surrounded by beautiful nature, with hiking trails right outside the door and numerous birds of prey, alpine jackdaws, alpine swifts and even vultures that we could observe. The cottage itself is authentic, cozy and very clean – equipped with everything you need on an alpine pasture: gas kitchen, wood stove and a very special flair. The jacuzzi at 1600 m altitude was a unique experience! Barbecuing with a view of the mountains was also unforgettable. Friendly cows grazed in the area and the fresh mountain spring water right at the house rounded off the natural experience. Madlyn was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. A clear recommendation for those seeking peace, nature and originality!

We had a wonderful stay in Borca di Cadore. Driving time to Cortina d’Ampezzo was 20 minutes! The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The house itself was cozy, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained, making our stay very comfortable. The only small detail was that we had to ask the owner to increase the temperature in the house by one degree, but they were very responsive and accommodating, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway!

This place is off the beaten path but that’s what makes it so special. Rik helps you get to it and then you are on a little piece of mountain paradise. He gave us a breakfast box and we ate at his amaze restaurant! The hot bath outside while looking at the Dolomites was just the icing on the cake!!

Amazing experience! The chalet is right on the mountain for a true ski in ski out. The view of the Dolomites is absolutely breathtaking! The home has been updated and it was a great place to stay. The host couldn’t have been nicer. He meet us at the ski lift and helped us with our things to the chalet. Very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. This is truly a rare find and such a special home. I would highly recommend staying here. I only hope to come back someday.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings are breathtaking. We had the best night sleep of our trip here at this place. The shutters made it so dark in the room so we slept so deeply. It was just what we needed. Then, waking up to have your coffee with this most spectacular view is beyond amazing. A few notes for people who are going to stay here. The hills are steep to drive so make sure you have a good car. Also, the pool needs to be heated and it takes a while to do that so ask the host to turn it on early in the day if you are looking to go for an evening dip. They will be happy to do that but you must plan in advance. As far as the local food, we ate amazing pizza close by in walking distance. I cooked the other night and that was really fun because the kitchen is amazing. This place is amazing and we wish we were able to stay for a week or two.

We absolutely recommend this place! It’s a bit off the beaten path and wonderfully quiet – perfect for relaxing. You can spend lovely evenings outside, and the surroundings are just beautiful. If you’re looking to escape the stress of everyday life, this is the ideal spot. The accommodation is clean, cozy, and smells like wood the moment you walk in – such a warm and welcoming feeling. There were four of us, and we all had a real “wow” moment when we arrived. Alex greeted us personally at both check-in and check-out, which made the stay feel even more personal. We were a group of four at the alpine hut for a week and loved its location and amenities! Everything worked as described by Hansi & Elke, their compiled information about the hut and activities in the surrounding area were perfect, both were always immediately available for inquiries and extremely friendly. A special highlight was the south-facing terrace with its incredible panoramic views. The cottage was equipped with all the things you need and fully corresponded to the description and photos. We can only recommend the stay in the authentic and very cozy accommodation and wish Hansi & Elke all the best!

The views from this home are absolutely stunning. You walk outside and are instantly greeted with a gorgeous mountain range. Its very quiet and peaceful, and everyone in the community is very kind. Fantastic house with a lovely garden. Anything you need is present. The house is completely private, and you will not be bothered by anyone. The photos miss the view from the house but the view certainly does not disappoint. Lucia was helpful and had good tips for walks in the area and good restaurant tips. However, we were in the low season, so restaurants were not open every day. The last 100 meters to the cottage is gravel, we have a low car but it was good to do. We enjoyed it just like our dog who was more than welcome.

Fantastic traditional house fully renovated in the local style. The place is very cozy. The amenities are all working nicely, and the host is always responsive in case of questions. Location is great, beautiful view of the mountains and at walking distance to supermarket and a restaurant. Several walking trails starting directly from zortea, or otherwise within 20 min drive several other hikes

Charming cabin... a paradise at the gates of the forest, for lovers of nature and tranquility. Super equipped, there's even a washing machine! Very clean, with everything you need to spend a relaxing holiday in contact with nature. My husband and I stayed with our dogs, divinely. For those of us who have dogs, it is the ideal place, you can leave them free in safety, given the distance from the street and other homes. Sergio is a very kind and helpful host. We had no problems whatsoever, neither for check-in nor for check-out, with flexible hours. Unfortunately, we were unlucky because of the weather but, work permitting, we will return in September, hoping this time for the beautiful season, to make up for it! Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains... Thank you so much to Sergio for the hospitality! Highly recommended!

The accommodation was as described, we felt very comfortable. Luigi was very nice and always easy to reach. The view was really a dream to be a dream to be. I'm sure we'll be back.

If you are looking for a special place to regenerate, you can definitely choose this beautiful cottage entirely made of wood and made with first-class materials and solutions. Nino and his wife were very helpful and extremely attentive while ensuring privacy and tranquility. Beautiful surroundings with many attractions easily accessible and never too crowded even in high season like the one we chose. Highly recommended

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

The house is beautiful, what the host described is present. The host (kind and always available) with his home allowed us to spend pleasant evenings after visiting the wonderful places of these valleys.

Super helpful host, typical mountain house equipped with everything you need: super relaxing area surrounded by greenery and suitable for families with small children for extreme tranquility. The village just a short distance away allows you to shop without problems. If you are traveling with a dog all the better because it has a lot of space to stay in the house too.

Enormously enjoyed our time in nature. The cabin itself was beyond our expectations. Clearly built for and by someone with expertise. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was present. Furthermore, you are nicely quiet at the edge of the village in the forest, but still within walking distance and by car easily at various beautiful and convenient places. We recommend this accommodation 100% for people who like to stay in nature, do not want all the necessary luxury and are looking for a good base for the north/east of the Dolomites. The Italian charm is not far away. This has been a real enjoyment.

A truly beautiful location. Close to the lift and restaurants of piste 85 (Alpe Cermis), yet very quiet and private. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the terrace full of sun. And you can ski directly there on your skis. The communication is very friendly and attentive. Allessandro is very helpful. The house itself is clean, but slightly old-fashioned in terms of bathroom and kitchen (see photo's). We think this Chalet has an excellent price/quality balance and can highly recommend the Chalet. Tips for your stay: - Online you can buy tickets with a 10% discount. - The slope is for a novice to intermediate skier. Try the 75,88,76,84,74,87 (long + descend 1400 meters (!)). - A day trip to Latemar is definitely worth it (but much busier) - The ski rental near the chalet is much friendlier and cheaper than the one downstairs (+10% discount). - Try Tiramisu at Baita Tonda and fresh pizza at Eurotel Hotel. We would for sure recommend the Chalet!
