Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Val-de-Ruz District

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

We felt very comfortable. Everything is very clean and furnished with love. Everything you need. For us, it was absolutely perfect and we will definitely come back!

Christine's house is a real haven of peace, with a beautiful garden where the children were able to play while the adults enjoyed themselves. Close to shops (Coop, bakery) as well as trains and boats, this house was very convenient and in a good location. 15-20 minutes from the beach on foot (with children). The beds were good quality and there was everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this warm and comfortable place.

Highly recommended for a weekend (or longer) digital detox! Sandra and Pierre's place and the special surroundings are a real gem. The small house is very well maintained, very simple and tastefully decorated, and offers many options to relax, linger and simply "be", especially with its outdoor areas. Due to illness, we were only able to arrive later than planned, the generous courtesy of the hosts was unexpected and left an even better impression. We are grateful for the beautiful days there and all around satisfied.

Delphine is a lovely and very warm hostess. The cottage was very welcoming, nicely decorated with all the basic products available. The environment is beautiful. I really recommend it.

Jaqueline provided us with her cozy cottage for several days. It was an insanely beautiful natural setting and very comfortable to linger even with a fire in the evening. I can recommend it.

We stayed in this accommodation for 4 nights and had a great time! The welcome was very warm, Marcel took the time to introduce us to all the features of the studio. The bedding was perfect, the accommodation very quiet, clean and particularly functional. All the amenities are very good quality, and the little touches in the fridge were much appreciated. A place where you can feel right at home. We'll be happy to go back on a future visit to Switzerland!

Angelina is a very thoughtful host. The guest book she compiled was helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed super comfortable and there were extra blankets. For the total of a few m2, the apartment has been perfectly divided and optimally used. And the outdoor area invited you to linger. Great apartment for 2. For four, it would be too cozy for me personally. The only point is the connection to public transport. In the evening, we couldn't get around without a car. But Angelina can do little about that.

I spent 3 very pleasant days in Rodolphe's accommodation, the apartment is in a charming little peaceful village 30 min from Switzerland and 5 min drive from Morteau. The apartment is spacious with a beautiful terrace to enjoy outdoors. Kitchen equipped with induction cooktop which is a plus when you like to cook. Thanks for this beautiful place.

Very good accommodation if you want to enjoy Lake Neufchatel. Very well-equipped studio and pleasant outdoor area in good weather.

This cabin exceeded our expectations!! Surrounded by beautiful landscapes in the middle of mountains, meadows, river and a spectacular view, just looking out the window is like having a painting in front of us. In addition, the cabin is equipped with everything you need for 4 people, a beautiful kitchen, dining room, living room, comfortable bathroom... The location was perfect, as we wanted a place nestled in the mountains to be at an intermediate point (not so close or so far, we went by car) of our places of interest, such as Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald... We also spent a day and went up that same road by car, we left it at a point and walked along a marked road to climb the mountain and touch the snow, it was a wonderful experience. If you don't have your own car, buses also pass near the house, you can ask for schedules. Nicolai was always attentive to messages and Rosa, her mother, a spectacular woman, made our ❤️ stay. I recommend it 100%

Regina & Alois are nice host, and the apartment is cozy, clean and comfortable. We were tired from our 10 days road trip vacation, but had a good rest here for 2 nights, very quiet, no noise at all, bed is comfy, and the apartment has everything we need. Sometimes at airbnb you can feel "at home" or just like in a hotel, or you feel at someone else's place. But here we felt at home, because the dining set they provided for the guests are like at our mom's or grandma's, like those beautiful china set which we usually are allowed to use on special ocassions. We've never had this in all the previous dozens of airbnbs we've been before. :) So definitely a worthy of 5 stars and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

This accommodation was so charming and cozy. Peter kindly picked us up from the train station and even dropped us off when we left. The view of the snowy mountains right outside the house was absolutely breathtaking—it looked just like a Windows desktop background! We also really enjoyed exploring Damtigen National Park with the free bus tickets provided. Everyone in the village was incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly, even though we were strangers. Lastly, the nearby local farm product fridge was such a great touch. Be sure to try the small butter portions and the caramel-flavored yogurt—they’re amazing!

We spent a week here on vacation with baby. The place is perfect for cozy holidays. The apartment is ideally located between the train station, old town and lake and there are various shopping facilities - all within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need, it is quiet and Basil and his father, who also lives in the house, are very accommodating and friendly - but not intrusive at all. In addition, the house has a cozy garden. Murten and the surrounding area also offer many great opportunities for day trips or simply "chilling" by the lake. We can absolutely recommend the apartment, even for couples or small families. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Familie Hehlen’s place. The house is set in the most beautiful location - it’s an amazing find. The house was spacious (even with 5 adults and 3 children), very clean and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and my children loved the play area outside. Check in was informative and Familie Hehlen were really helpful when I had an issue with Airbnb cancelling my stay with a week to go! Communication was quick and responsive. Familie Hehlen, thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. I’d love to return one day! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Our stay at Cécile's went very well. The place was easy to get to and very clean. The terrace is a real plus. The accommodation is located in a residential area 30 min walk from the city of Fribourg, with parking space in front of the accommodation. We would recommend this listing.

We had a very cozy and peaceful stay at Ursula’s farmhouse. It is located on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The washing machine was helpful and the cat was very affectionate! Would love to come back someday.

Lovely farm in a very quiet neighborhood. My kids enjoyed a lot the experience of the farm, the animals, and the surroundings. It was a perfect stay for anyone that wanna visit the region. We were going around Gruyere, Bern and Fribourg.
