Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vågsøy Municipality

With its location and facilities, the house is perfect for a perfect Norwegian holiday. We used it for a fishing vacation and it was a great choice. Boats, pier, fish cleaning area, storage, and especially excellent fishing spots available early in any weather within minutes. The owner was helpful, always quick to respond and recommended us great places for fishing. Plus, he's still investing in his facility, like a new high-pressure hot water gun to clean equipment and boats, a new jacuzzi. Looking forward to another year.

We had a great stay. Idar was very helpful and easy to reach when there were problems with the hot tub, which were then resolved.

Highly recommend Ole's house. We were there for fishing and found the best place in the world. Everything is available. You can rent a boat, there is a exception house, a super great fishing area and the host gave us valuable tips on where the fish bite particularly well. In addition, we refilled the pool twice with sea water and got the wood for heating! Ola, the host once took us on a tour with his speedboat and regularly came by to see the right. He is very helpful. If you want to experience a great fishing holiday in Norway, book it. The fjord is free from April to October. In wintertime, the fjord can freeze. We stayed in March. A few mornings we broke through the ice by boat. That was no problem.

We had a very nice stay in Dalsfjord. Lovely weather for walking, fishing and enjoying the fjord from the bay. Good communication with Jørn and Anne:)

We were very happy with our stay at Anita's. We were actually so pleased that we have already booked our next stay there. We are looking forward to it again :)

When I was there, there was no one else in the building and it was very peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed a little walk to watch the sea and greet the gracing sheep. Both Kari and Knut were very kind and welcoming and told me a lot about the history of the place. I wanted to enjoy my breakfast at the patio overlooking the sea, but it was too windy. It’s amazing to stay in such an old building. Loved my very short stay here.

Wonderful home in the middle of the Kalvag Harbour. The house is at the best spot and amazing comfortable.

We (with two boys 13, 16) had a wonderful week. Beaches of Refvik or Hoddevik (white beaches, blue water :) in about 1 h 20), Sunnmørsalpen (1.5 h) or just the mountain lakes in the immediate vicinity with magnificent views over the coastal mountains (in 10 min you are in the fjell above the house or 30 min to the brandal) - a highlight is possible every day. The beach right by the house is fine sand and the water as clear as it can be. The boat is robust and works perfectly. We are inexperienced anglers, had great fish (Pollack). But driving around by boat alone is wonderful. The house (very clean, loving details) has everything you need, it is a small, loving pearl. The upper floor is a pearl especially for children + teenagers - with TV, private couch and two small SZ with a bed. Our landlord said "it's not a luxury here" - we felt it different! Those who appreciate the important things have luxury there.

We had a wonderful time during our two-night stay at Sylve. The huts offered great privacy and the view of the fjord was simply enchanting. We are particularly grateful to Jenny for allowing us to use the sauna by the fjord. The hut was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the kitchen was immaculate. We especially appreciated the fact that the hut is dog-friendly, although it is important to ensure that any mess is cleaned up after your pet. We look forward to returning in the future. Trygve's place is cozy, clean, and Trygve made us feel right at home. He found and offered information on a local tour when we told him we were looking for it. You will love the beautiful scenery and the culture and history you'll feel in this lovely home.

This Airbnb was well beyond our expectations in all points! Anne Karin and Jarle welcomed us with happiness and treated us as if we were family, which they also became for us in our eyes! The Airbnb was spacious, with all the necessary amenities and the view… amazing! This trip was simply unforgettable and we thank Anne Karin and Jarle again for all they did for us :)

Beautifully renovated house, with a beautiful garden room overlooking the mountains. Nice host who gives clear instructions. Repeatable.

Quite out of the ordinary! Apt on the pier with boat, fishing equipment, crab rabbits, own crab cooker, wetsuits, etc. The apartment was unusually well equipped and the location couldn't be better. In addition, all of this above, which gave the stay lots of experience and character . We gladly came back!

Brilliant stay at a great cabin in Sandshamn! Modern kitchen with large dining area downstairs and large living room on second floor. Seats outside, both upstairs and downstairs, on both sides of the cabin that allow you to enjoy the sun the whole day. Can definitely recommend a trip to this cabin!
