we had a great trip in kirknes , this spot is only 10 mins drive from city center , the apartment is very big and cozy with quiet surrounding , most of all to communicate with alexadra was super efficient , and helpful ! i will recommend this apartment for all who would love to stay in kirkenes . also there is a small hill 5 mins walk from home to hike for northern light hunting and i bet in winter is the perfect place to ski . 5 stars experience

The house is in a place at the end of the world. The road ends here, the last stretch of the road to Hamningberg will surely one day become the backdrop of a science fiction film. The location is very nice and you also have a very nice view from the house. In the house you can tell that it has a story, it is not sterile or stylish, but lived and authentic. Since it was sunny, we were able to fully enjoy the tranquility, the view and the reindeer in the garden on the terrace. For us, it was a very special stay that we will never forget.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible. The cabin was perfect for remote work—good internet, peaceful surroundings, and everything we needed. The outdoor and indoor fireplaces made for cozy evenings, and everything was done. A special highlight were the hosts, who were super responsive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. They can provide tours from the cabin, allowing for a true arctic circle experience. Ice fishing, northern lights, local stories, and shared local cuisines—it felt like a dream come true. So many pinch-me moments. Highly recommend!

The stay at the place was great. The pool is perfect for enjoying the northern lights for a few hours in the cold weather. The house is very modernly furnished and plenty of utensils are available for cooking. In town, we were able to rent a snowmobile without any problems. Joseph helped order the snowmobile, so the shopkeeper knew right away. By the way, a car driver's license is sufficient for renting and there are some routes in the area only for snowmobiles in the mountains. For shopping, we always drove to the K-Market across the Finnish border. This is only 10 minutes away. There is also a reindeer farm at the border where you could buy the meat directly from the producer. I highly recommend the stay!

Beautiful cabin, perfect to families and also people new to the “Cabin” life. Very nice area, clean cabin with everything you need as a family. Nice location, and close to Finland for shopping etc. highly recommended!

Have rented this place sometime in the past and are as happy now as last time. Private and calm area. Absolutely perfect when you bring an energetic dog, considering a large fenced area 😁 Perfect place to rent now at Easter, with ski slopes right next door. Actually got to see the northern lights as well. Would recommend!

Very nice place! The host was very nice, available and flexible, and responded quickly both before and during the stay. The place has a good standard, good sleeping places and practical and spacious open living room and kitchen - and great views of the river. The wood-fired sauna after long days on a trip was also lovely. Happy to come back!

We had a great time at SooHee Bae's place. The location is great, away from the city lights so you can see the northern lights. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. SooHee and her husband are very nice people and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.
