Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Elzelien's house suited us perfectly. We were an older couple with mobility issues with our son, daughter in law and 20 month granddaughter. Everything was on 1 floor and the house had 2 toilets! Difficult to find in the Netherlands. The garden outside was a big bonus for us. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed playtime and most of our meals outside. Joao, Elzelien's husband, was wonderful with the baby. We would rcommend this beautiful house to everyone. Walking distance to the lovely town of Barneveld. Highly recommend. Thank you. Tot ziens. We were there with 6 adults and 3 children over the Pentecost weekend. The area is beautiful, you can do a lot and a supermarket is also close. The accommodation was super nice and well equipped, as the weather was a bit mixed, we were very happy to have a nice living room, the hot tub and also the hotel nearby, as you could use a larger pool (indoor), a game room and the other amenities. We would definitely come back!

What a wonderful place! Surrounded by greenery and flowers, awakened by the birds. Plenty of space with a beautiful decor. Great opportunity to hike and bike in the nature in the area. Good tips from Jeannette and Frank, for example.

We were 6 people for two nights in this fantastically beautiful accommodation. The space is completely sufficient, with a large living area and 2 extra separate sleeping berths with double beds. The house is very special and an absolute highlight. In addition, the landlords are extremely helpful and nice. Thanks for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you :) we will definitely come back

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I've never seen so many dogs. All on a leash and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes walk you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the leash. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq , is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

The place is really nicely furnished, it has everything you need. The surrounding area is very nice and quiet. The stairs are very steep, otherwise everything is perfect. I would stay there again anytime. Communication is GREAT and very friendly and helpful.

Please note, if we left anything out of this review, it wasn’t because Floortje’s home didn’t offer it. Fact is we didn’t need it. This home was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay together with our two adult children and their significant others. It was the perfect starting point for many of our daily excursions, sightseeing in the Netherlands. We would recommend this home to anyone, any time and would love to return in future visits.

The spacious apartment is in the middle of the city center, which was incredibly convenient for us. The host had good tips on where to park, he had described everything clearly and responded quickly if we had any questions.

Yasmine and Sabah are, without question, the kindest and most helpful hosts I have ever met. I was dealing with a family emergency and had to book an Airbnb at the very last minute, and they showed me such immense kindness and support that I will never forget it. They went far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for — from being warm and responsive to offering help with genuine care and compassion. I will forever be grateful and indebted to them for their generosity during a very difficult time. In addition to being such lovely people, their Airbnb is absolutely fantastic. It is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully set up, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described — if not better — and it felt like a peaceful, welcoming retreat from the moment I walked in. I cannot recommend staying with Yasmine and Sabah highly enough. They are extraordinary hosts and truly wonderful people. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The owner was friendly, professional, and always quick to address any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

Very nice stay with very friendly hosts! Also the location is great, close to the center of Barneveld but still completely in the tranquility of the outdoor area. The surroundings are also beautiful, a beautiful area for cycling on the Veluwe.

We had a lovely weekend at the apartment. Susan and Jasper are very friendly people. Susan gave us all kinds of tips to do in the area. The apartment is incredibly beautiful and equipped with all the comforts. The location is also top! You have your own private terrace and in the area there is a lot to do (if you like nature). Nijmegen is also a stone's throw away. In short, definitely recommended to stay here :) Thanks again Susan and Jasper!

We had a wonderful stay at Adva’s place! The house is beautifully tucked away in nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Everything was exactly as described — clean, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The self check-in was smooth and Adva’s instructions were super clear. We also loved the forest walks right outside the door. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and relax.

I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the past few years and had wonderful experiences with each. This place has been the best place I have stayed. The host Maaike, is absolutely wonderful. Easy to communicate with, helpful, friendly and kind. The place itself is exactly as advertised. A great hideaway not far from several great destinations in the Netherlands. Quiet, comfortable, and private. When I come back to the Netherlands again, I will absolutely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

We had a wonderful time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hottub that we could use for a fee. Lovely area & accommodation. The bikes were extremely helpful & easy to get out. The hosts were very kind & offered us help with places to go around Amsterdam etc. Cannot recommend this AirBnB more!

It was a nice place to stay. Beautiful on the river. Delicious jacuzzi, a party to light yourself with blocks of wood. Lovely cozy private place. The area is great for hiking and biking. Cute place within walking distance of eateries. Kiona was always friendly and ready to help us. Totally fine.
