Cottage vacation rentals in Usson-du-Poitou

For a few days we were able to enjoy the beauty and comfort of this cottage, located in the heart of a very charming area, as well as the kindness of its owners, Kenneth and Jan. We would highly recommend it and will gladly stay again.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

Great weekend at Frédéric's, his accommodation was simply perfect for my friend, my dog and me. The accommodation is located in a small street with no passage, ideal for a relaxing weekend. Frédéric is very friendly, he knows his region and its history perfectly and will guide you on the beautiful things to do and see (Oradour, Lac Saint Pardoux, Le Roc d'Enfer, etc.) Thanks to him for hosting us and for his kindness, we had a great weekend. ☀️ Laurie, Sarah, and Loki.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Julie and Keith have created a haven of peace and tranquility at their beautiful gite. The gardens are stunning and the gite is superb, extremely comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. everything was perfect. very good stay. very well equipped. nice setting. the pool and exteriors are very nice. close to the Valley of the Monkeys. to be redone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. We had a lovely stay. Super environment. Very well furnished (outdoor games for children and large indoor games room). We were able to enjoy a canoe ride made available by the hosts. The accommodation is very well-equipped.

We spent 2 days in this peaceful retreat, under a beautiful spring sun. Our host was very welcoming, the accommodation was very pleasant and perfectly matched its description. We would highly recommend it!

Thanks again to Brian and Tracey! We were very well received, with great care. The house is very cute, with lots of amenities. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The garden is very nice, the view incredible and the pool, of course, very nice when it's very hot. There are plenty of small places to sit: dine on the terrace, have an aperitif in front of the view, dry in the sun at the exit of the pool, read near the stove on very comfortable sofas, dine with the family by the fire. Really, the property has been tastefully furnished and the hosts are very attentive.

A very nice house for organizing a stay in the countryside, the place is quiet and located at the start of beautiful walks. The hostess is welcoming and accommodating.

The house is very nice and spacious, the location is also very convenient with a local supermarket within walking distance. Beautiful scenery around. The host was always reachable online to answer our questions. We had a very pleasant stay there and would recommend this place for families.

We had a great time in Avignon. Very welcoming and great for a total disconnect and there are a lot of hikes to do nearby. We went there with our dog, great hospitality. Very welcoming host and always smiling. I highly recommend it, a great week.

A nice quiet place to enjoy. Nice swimming pool, great seating in the shade and a huge garden for some small activities. There is not much to do in the village itself, but Virginia does give advice. We went to Angouleme. Furthermore, especially in the place, enjoy the swimming pool, the garden and the relaxed location. The accommodation is nice and spacious and equipped with every comfort, and the dogs on the property are sweet and quiet.
